MAIN PURPOSE:
This position will report to the Finance Director of Malaysia. This role will directly manage wholesale & the retail finance team with one direct report. You will be fully responsible for the completeness and correctness of
financial accounting, reporting, internal control, and audit matters in relation to wholesale & retail operation of all brands and working in close partnership with the other Finance Departments and ICS team to drive together
overall boutique operation governance.


HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?
Wholesale Finance Operations Support:
•Update wholesales collections on timely basis ensuring billing documents are posted in SAP
•Prepare reminder letters for overdue balances in AR and send out monthly statements to wholesale customers
•Prepare monthly AR Aging Report for Management and Maison review including credit limit review of wholesales customers
•Prepare non-trade credit note to business partner and Richemont subsidiaries
•Reconciliation balances in sub-ledger to general ledger balances
•Managing and keep records of Dealer Distribution Agreement
•Finance specialist for Master Data Governance in reviewing new creation, modification and deletion of customer master data in accordance to Richemont policies and procedures
•Key users for AR Wholesales activities on process improvements / projects

 

Retail Finance Operations Support:
•Lead and supervise the team to perform and monitor Finance operations in relation to retail and e-commerce businesses.
•Perform AR month-end account closing/Financial reporting, including sales settlement and costumer refund
•Liaise with external partners such as external auditor, credit card companies for disputes matters and landlords on boutique activities
•Develop and maintain a control framework to monitor the retail and e-commerce Finance operations in ensuring the achievement of KPI/SLA for Brands and Finance Department
•Review monthly or quarterly reporting to Brands and ensure the reports are delivered on an accurate and timely basis.
•Evaluate existing process flows, identify opportunities/risks and implement corrective action to ensure the corporate governance best practices

 

Boutique Review/Control & Compliance in Finance aspect:
•Perform boutique operational review and compliance training
•Work closely with the Brands, Compliance and other RRF teams to tighten the retail operation controls
•Communicate with Brand Retail Management and monitor implementation of improvement plans
•Coordinate with Compliance team to address/resolve control process related issues
•Ensure Anti-Money Laundering compliance and requirements are well respected

 

Team Development
•Ensure proper team structure to support retail and e-commerce Ðinance operations
•Develop team to have more operations control/audit senses without compromising customer-centric


HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US?
•University graduate, preferably with major in Business / Accounting / Finance or professional qualifications (ACCA) equivalent.
•Minimum 5 years relevant working experience in Finance or Accounting with at least 2-3 years in the areas of financial auditing or internal auditing. Knowledge in retail industry would be an advantage.
•Good understanding of International / Local Accounting, Auditing Standards and corporate governance
•Strong management skill to attract, retain and develop a team
•Strong business acumen and attentive to operational issues,
•Proficiency in verbal and written English
•Familiarity in SAP FI
•Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Confident and tactful in dealing with different levels of management levels
•High learning capability with proactive, opened mindset, innovative, organized and meticulous talent with "can do" attitude
