ROLE

Richemont Asia Pacific is now looking for an accomplished Learning & Development expert to join the Regional Learning & Development Team in Hong Kong.  Reporting to the Regional Director of Learning & Development and working alongside the Maison/Richemont Function leaders, you would provide value-added partnerships to the formulation and orchestration of the strategic, transversal learning initiatives and contribute to the development of a capable workforce to realize the Richemont Group’s ambition in our markets.

 

HOW WILL YOU ADD VALUE?

  1. Learning & Development Curriculum and Project Management
  • Assume the role of market Learning & Development lead of Northeast Asia sub-region to strategize and operationalize all Learning & Development initiatives for the corporate population, while supporting the Group and Regional Learning & Development initiatives for the region in partnership with Regional Director of Learning & Development and Regional People Experience Director
  • Understand the business priorities of Maisons/Richemont Functions and translate them into impactful learning solutions that build employee capability and bridge competency gaps
  • Conduct learning needs assessment, develop new modules and refresh existing modules of the learning curriculum, and provide sound recommendations on the delivery options that engage learners and produce desired outcomes
  • Establish and communicate project plans that define milestones, roles and responsibilities for effective program deployment
  • Develop, monitor and adjust budget in order to fulfil the Learning & Development priorities
  • Maximize internal available resources (people, processes and tools) whilst sourcing external vendors/resources to enrich the total learning offerings
  • Manage the reporting and tracking of all Learning & Development initiatives, qualitatively and quantitatively, for management perusal
  • Serve as an expert in the Learning Management System and optimize the functionalities to maximize operational efficiency

 

  1. Learning & Development Program Facilitation and Operationalization
  • Facilitate bespoke programs with appropriate contextualization to reflect and address the market-specific learning needs
  • Cascade and leverage programs and assets from Group Learning & Development (e.g. My Performance Journey, Compliance Programs) to the designated population
  • Measure success and impact of learning solutions and suggest improvements as appropriate
  • Manage co-ordination and logistics of learning events and offerings, based on the agreed budget and milestones
  • Provide advice (and co-creation support) when requested to the Maison/Richemont Function Human Resources Business Partners or stakeholders on learning interventions and tools to enable effective skill transfer and knowledge application

 

 

  1. Partnership Building and Stakeholder Management
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with Maisons/Richemont Functions leaders across levels/markets, enlist their collective commitment on the learning priorities, and co-create conditions for effective capability development and lasting behavioural change
  • Work closely with Human Resources Business Partners to cultivate and embed a strong culture of intentional, perpetual learning
  • Partner with Group Learning & Development and Regional People Experience to synergize efforts and scale resources on people development

 

WHAT CALIBRE ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • An accomplished Learning & Development/Corporate Academy lead with at least 10 years’ solid Learning & Development experience, preferably gained from luxury retail and hospitality sectors; previous experience in leading corporate academy and curating blended learning curriculum on regional/global scales a definite asset  
  • A trusted partner/advisor with strong business acumen, exceptional understanding of Learning & Development best practices, and proven ability to translate the business needs into practical Learning & Development solutions; understanding of retail landscape an advantage
  • A skilled trainer with significant hands-on facilitation experience in English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua); accreditation on branded programs (e.g. Situational Leadership) and professional license on facilitation/coaching an advantage
  • An agile, well-organized project manager comfortable with planning and executing both strategic and operational tasks in a fast-paced, multi-brand and multi-market environment
  • An interpersonally and culturally savvy relationship builder with ability and poise to engage and influence stakeholders across levels, and leverage both internal and external networks to deliver results
  • A result-driven individual with a strong sense of ownership and an innovative mindset
  • Occasional travels are required
