HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?

Reporting directly to the Regional Operations Excellence & PMO Director of Richemont Asia Pacific in Hong-Kong, you will strive for operational excellence within the logistics network, lead the development and implementation of all the projects in APAC region, in adequation with Richemont guidelines to achieve Regional Logistics ambitions, and, as part of transformation & optimization of our process and systems, support application changes with our operational teams in a system environment based on SAP (LE, eWM, MM, GTS, etc.).

 

Your key responsibilities will be,

Project Management:

  • Work analytically and creatively in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence with full project life cycle ownership. Successful project delivery will include full implementation from initiation to deployment for multiple project initiatives simultaneously.
  • Manage all aspects of multiple related projects to ensure the overall program is aligned to and directly supports the achievement of Richemont strategic objectives.
  • Be the local expert to facilitate pre-study gap analysis, identify gaps vs. the target solution, and propose new processes to ensure efficiency and compliance.
  • Responsible for reporting the progress, issues, and risks in all project phases on regular basis.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, both global and local, to ensure all relevant stakeholders are aligned and on board with delegated tasks.
  • Assure proper identification and follow-up of all change management activities in logistics / warehousing, compliance, and import/export domain. Facilitate change management workshops, make sure changes are well communicated, and new features and processes are known to all stakeholders.
  • Deliver projects on time while also ensuring quality standards are met.
  • Develop support documentation including risk logs and requirement specifications. Highlight potential risks or malfunctions and act proactively to resolve issues.
  • Set-up a proper organization and relationship with Central / Region / Markets to support post go-live improvement and evolution of business processes and system.

 

Operational Excellence:

  • Ensure the proper use of the logistics operating model, including knowledge, documentation, execution, and standardization, within APAC region.
  • Contribute to identifying areas of improvement within APAC region and collaborate with counterparts from other regions and central teams to define and prioritize improvement initiatives for the operating model.
  • Validate proposals for changes in the operating model specific to your region.
  • Provide support to regional and cross-functional projects by understanding the business model, validating potential impacts, and providing expertise on the operating model.
  • Consolidate the operation best practice in the region and apply the relevant flow to the region.
  • Help to centralize the management of major RFQs in the region.
  • Produce and elevate the relevant standards for both Warehouse and Distribution, summarize and continuously improve the SOP for the key process.
  • Collaborate closely with the Group Logistics team to implement regional and local Lean/Continuous Improvement initiatives based on the global strategy.
  • Analyze, identify, and implement actions to optimize the transportation activities from CDC to RDC, from RDC to End Customer. Support the logistics team in reducing global lead times and enhancing supply chain reactivity.

HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US?

To succeed in this role, you should have a strong background in project management, in logistics operations and operational excellence. A Master’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.

  • Solid experience in Project Management with a focus on execution and rigorous implementation. Ability to gather and analyse data along with implementing learnings for future use. Strong skills in process analysis, data gathering and modelling, Lean and 6 sigma experience is a plus.
  • Proven track record in project management of large-scale end to end FMCG/High Tech Ecommerce and Omni-Channel projects is a plus.
  • Solid experience in Logistics (Warehouse / Transportation / Freight forwarding), operations process design, implementation and reengineering.
  • Proven experience in plan, prioritize and adapt to changes while achieving results for multiple projects, managing dynamic projects that require the ability to flex as obstacles are, driving change management in a high-pressure and dynamic fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability influencing decisions made cross-functionally in a matrix environment where speed and cultural sensitivity is crucial.
  • Macro and detail oriented, with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to translate collected data into KPIs.
  • Highly flexible and able to work both independently and in collaboration, with a positive can-do attitude and self-motivation.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Confidence to work autonomously and by objectives.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills: able to communicate effectively with internal & external partners.
  • Proficient in spoken and written in both, English and Cantonese (Mandarin is a plus)
  • Have a good grasp of SAP implementation experience with solid knowledge of GTS / EMW / MM.
  • Excellent proficiency with MS Office.
