MAIN PURPOSE

Reporting to the regional senior data scientist (Asia Pacific) in Richemont, you will be adept at supporting multiple data science and automation projects for Maisons in the APAC region. You will have extensive experience in data analytics and data science and a great interest in the luxury business.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

Your key responsibilities in this function will be the following:

  • Assist the data science projects with the development of new insights, advanced modelling techniques, and data science capabilities
  • Develop and implement the machine learning pipelines with production-grade coding on Google Cloud Platform
  • Support to identify and integrate new datasets or machine learning features that can be leveraged from our data products and work closely with the data engineering team to strategize and execute the corresponding developments
  • Develop processes and tools to monitor, analyze and optimize model performance
  • Exchange best practices and work in partnership with the data science team in HQ and China

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Data Science / Statistics or other related disciplines
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in data science or data modelling
  • Programming skills in Python is a must
  • Exposure to a Cloud platform (GCP) is preferred (e.g. Vertex AI, Looker, etc.)
  • Experience with MLOps (e.g. ML model monitoring, logging, versioning, etc.) is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills to be able to tailor and convey technical messages in a clear and understandable manner
  • Strong in data mining, analytics, and modelling, developing algorithms and simulations
  • Self-starter who can work with minimal supervision and meet deadlines

  • Fluent in English
