We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Assistant Project Manager to support Sustainable Procurement initiatives in the region focusing on environmental aspect.  It is a 12-month contract position under the APAC regional procurement team and partnering closely with different stakeholders across the functions and maisons.

 

As our Assistant Project Manager you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of projects through the complete lifecycle, from developing abstract ideas and ambiguous concepts into workable business cases through to successful delivery. The projects you will be managing genuinely impact the way the company works and protect better our environment.  Sustainability as part of the transformation journey is the key focus of our Company.

 

In addition to support environment sustainability projects, this role will also support various day-to-day procurement operations. He/she will have a chance to learn and experience procurement operation in a luxury retail environment covering all Richemont brands and functions.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Reports to Regional Procurement Director on Sustainable Procurement projects support
  • Coordinate with local markets and brand representatives
  • Manage overall project aspects including but not limited to data collection, analysis, project planning, solution identification, and implementation
  • Work with external suppliers on sourcing materials
  • Manage communication, both internal and external, oversee change management
  • Supporting local and regional procurement activities for all functions and all brands

 

To be successful in this role we are looking for the following:

  • 3-5 year of work experience with solid working experience in a complex organization structure set up
  • Experience of working of a mix of business and technically focused projects and programmes
  • A proven ability to manage competing project demands and time-critical schedules
  • Excellent inter-personal communication (verbal and written), influencing, negotiation skills and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong data analytical skills
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint
