MAIN PURPOSE:

Responsible for all inbound and outbound logistics activities, stock movements, and product & trade compliance in Vietnam. The Logistics & Trade Compliance Executive will work closely with Maisons, Local/Regional Logistics, 3PLs and Government agencies to ensure an efficient and compliant supply chain.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  1. LOGISTICS

 

  • Prepare sales contracts, shipping documents and logistics documentation or related paper work for import and export of goods and services
  • Co-ordinate with Regional/Central Distribution Centres and Carriers to track shipment delivery lead-times and monitor delivery status
  • Monitor international/domestic shipments and update Boutiques/Retailer/Workshop on the shipment status and delivery date
  • Work closely with customs brokers to ensure there are no delays in customs clearance, and resolve issues with customs and/or related government agencies
  • File and follow up claims for damages with transportation companies and insurance companies
  • Manage goods return from point-of-sales (Boutiques/Retailers), update the system and prepare shipping documentation for re-export to Regional/Central Distribution Centre
  • Monitoring and validating the freight cost invoices issued by logistics service providers
  • Follow, check and feedback to 3PLs on delivery quality to comply with the Company’s processes, procedures, regulations, and standards
  • Organize with 3PLs on delivery/shipment to B2C customers. Client presentations and Events
  • Proper filing of all export documents including invoices, permits, AWB/BL and subsidiary certificates.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the Manager

 

 

  1. TRADE COMPLIANCE

 

  • Monitor and validate all trade compliance topics including but not limited to: Tax & Duty, HS code classification, Incoterm, Product labelling, testing and registration to ensure all activities are in-compliance withcustoms, and other government agencies laws/regulations
  • Regulatory Monitoring and Intelligence, regularly check with customs, and other government agencies and local product testing partners to get the latest update of laws/regulations
  • Report non-compliance issues on import/export activities which have potential business and reputation impact to Local/Regional Trade Compliance
  • Working actively and strategically with Management, Maisons, 3PLs and Government agencies to achieve Group ESG initiatives and targets
  • Conduct training with local brands per Regional Trade Compliance training plan including Product & Trade Compliance Directive roll out / update
  • Perform Control & Risk assessments, product label audits and prepare monthly Non-Compliance report

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS :

 

  • Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain, foreign trade or any other related fields
  • Experience in a logistics company or experience in shipping, importing, or customs clearance
  • Good understanding of VNACCS systems and VNSW
  • Strong in reading, understanding legal and regulatory requirements, especially in customs clearance
  • Positive mindset; resourceful; sense of urgency, customer focused, team player, and responsible
  • Experience in using SAP ERP/MM is a plus
  • English is at business level in both English and Vietnamese (written & verbal)
