MAIN PURPOSE/ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

The position to

 

  • New build retail stores/boutiques security design for high value merchandise/jewerly
  • Assist with all aspects of security including: logistics/transportation protocol of money/values, CCTV design, instruction retail staff, security vendors on best practices, security audits, BCP/DRP.
  • Jewellery: Exibition/Event design, operations, monitoring values, showcase standards.
  • Evaluate security posture of new build/existing/proposed retail space
  • Assess and mitigate all types of physical threats to staff and facilities (Corporate office, Warehouse retail boutiques)
  • Brief management on all relevant incidents and Corporate Security activities
  • Organize and conduct life safety related training such as evacuation drills, earthquake and fire response, first aid and attacker training for retail boutiques
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of risks including fraud, Corruption, Anti-Social Forces, Sanctions and threat mitigation related to above risks
  • Manage vendors and ensure compliance of MSLA (Master and Service Level Agreements)
  • Develop/Maintain government and law enforcement relationships
  • Conduct internal investigations of theft or fraud, support Legal & Compliance, HR and other internal clients as needed

 

Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in Physical Security
  • Must have some experience managing a professional staff of professionals in addition to vendors/contractors.
  • Bilingual: Japanese/English. -  fluency in both Japanese and English.
  • Experience in managing physical security vendors and third party contractors
  • Willing and able to travel
  • Willing and able to respond to incidents 24/7/365 as needed
  • Work well under pressure while managing multiple projects
  • Event/physical security and assessment
