New Technology (i-devices) Manager

LOCATION Tokyo
MAIN PURPOSE
The New Technology Manager is a member of the Japan Infrastructure team. He/She will be located in Tokyo Hanzomon. He/she will be responsible for building and maintaining a growing idevice team (iphone, ipads, Apps) at a regional level. He/She will be in charge of troubleshooting, testing, implementing, administering and supporting enterprise level of Apple devices. He/she will provide support to the Japan offices, BTQs and Events.
He/She will work closely with the Director of User Support & Infrastructure and other members of the team, Project Managers and EMEA Architects, Regional IT Analysts and interacts with global IT community in a complex international environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Managing a team of minimum 4 person
- In charge of preparing Budget
- Vendor Management
- Oversight HW/SW for apple devices
- Project follow-up
- Ensure operational continuity
- Enhancement of the current organisation
- Develop, implement and maintain policies, procedures including inventory and version management
- Deliver daily support across Japan for offices & BTQs
- Be involved in BTQs opening and Events
Interaction:
Interacts with all end-users and global IT community as they deal with all incidents and maintenance. He/She will interact with other IT persons in his area of expertise for support on tickets and projects.
Career Expertise:
- Technical:
- 4-5 years experience in Networking
- CCNP networking skills and knowledge of supporting systems within large scale
- Good knowledge of Telecom infrastructure (LAN, MAN, WAN)
- Knowledge of new technology on the market (SDWAN, Amazon Cloud, Apple, Zscaler)
- Vendor management
- Experience working with Carrier (eg Verizon, BT, Softbank, etc)
- Personality/skills
- Customer Focussed and service oriented
- Team player and work effectively within a global team
- Experience working in a global international infrastructure
- Willingness to learn new technologies and maintain industry knowledge
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Technical writing skills and experience documenting procedures

- Japanese : Business level or higher (Mandatory)
- English : Business level or higher (Mandatory)
- French : Business level or higher is a plus
