Primary job function is to oversee and manage the accuracy, integrity, and completeness of RDC inventory.



Supervise and coordinate the cycle counting process to ensure overall inventory accuracy and integrity:

  • Create cycle count documents ensuring randomization of bin selection and are within approved corporate guidelines
  • Plan and monitor physical counting by the Operations Team
  • Monitor recount counting for completion by Inventory Team
  • Monitor and maintain documentation of discrepancies
  • Analyze inventory discrepancy data utilizing SAP DIFF_Analyzer and the Analytics Cloud (utilizing pivots and throughput calculations to measure against value and quantity goals) 
  • Communicate inventory value and quantity goals to AVP and Finance partners.
  • Post differences in DIFF_Analyzer according to RDC schedule in partnership with IT 

Responsible for researching inventory discrepancies:

  • Monitor and respond to discrepancies communicated via email from business partners and Maisons
  • Identify trends and inventory discrepancies: miss-shipments, quality issues, etc.
  • Develop metrics, identify trends, root cause, and recommend corrective actions needed

Oversee and manage the Inventory Control Coordinators:

  • Ensure team is adhering to inventory processes, schedules, and responsibilities as defined 
  • Assures that team members comply with corporate, DC, and departmental policies and procedures. Promptly addresses performance, attendance, behavior through coaching and appropriate documentation, and corrective action as needed.
  • Provide leadership guidance, direction, and development to direct reports.
  • Execute company initiatives and strategies to uphold our standard of warehouse and delivery excellence.
  • Create and perform annual associate performance elevations.

Monitor Inventory mailbox & RDC Support requests:

  • Ensure responses are timely
  • Ensure responses are accurate and professional


  • Ensure understanding of overall DC functions to assist in research (Vendors, Inbound, claims, all shipping points of outbound, Credit Returns, Boutique/Wholesale processing, Exports, partner facilities, ex: RTC, CAD1, USS1, Shelton)
  • Partner and coordinate PWC and Internal auditors during onsite audits/observation of cycle count program and provide documentation as requested
  • Participate in system health checks
  • Update department’s standard operating procedures
  • Enforce workplace safety by helping to ensure safety-related rules and policies are observed (e.g., use of PPE, proper housekeeping, equipment handling etc.)
  • Maintain strict compliance with the safety incident reporting process.




  • Associates degree in business related field (prefer 4yrs college degree with a concentration in business or operations)

Required Experience: 

  • 2 - 3 years Supervisory experience of direct reports b/w 5 – 20 team size in a distribution operation.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross functional teams

Technical Skills / Abilites: 

  • Expert user experience with warehouse management systems (SAP is a plus).
  • Data analytics
  • Strong PC skills
  • Strong Microsoft skills, especially Excel (pivot tables, basic to intermediate formulas, charts) 

Personal Skills: 

  • Fluent in English communication: written and verbal
  • Experience in quality concepts (QMS, Lean, 5S, RCA)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and critical thinking 
  • Experience in continuous improvement methods
  • Experience in change management  
  • Ability to communicate in a professional manner, maintain confidentiality and sustain a respectful workplace.
