Responsible Sourcing senior Category Manager – Ready-to-wear

The mission of the category manager is to support the Maisons and entities to source responsibly Textile (E&S aspects) and to control they apply the rules:


A full and strong collaboration with the Maisons is the basis of the mission.  


1. Understand the supply chains as an expert :

  • Mapping the supply chains. Go and visit all suppliers from manufacturing to raw material and, in collaboration with Maisons, build trust with suppliers and increase the transparency level
  • Editing regularly strategic market analysis to share the understanding of the supply chain with internal stakeholders


2. Risks assessment

  • Building reputational risk assessment methodology for strategic sourcing and regularly updating the due diligence procedure
  • Sharing the analysis with all internal stakeholders to enable regular updates of the strategy. The analysis will also include environmental topics (e.g. SBTi data)


3. Identifying tools and defining rules to mitigate risks to be harmonized for all Maisons

  • Identifying the right analysis and risk mitigation tools for each step of the supply chains.
  • Defining the rules to use the tools
  • Building an experts’ team to improve the supply chain understanding and maintain mitigations tools
  • Creating and managing a control procedure in collaboration with key stakeholders


4. Communication and coaching

  • Organizing yearly conference with internal stakeholders with updated information about rules and trends  
  • Coaching Maisons’ suppliers to achieve requested certifications is part of the mission.


5. Control

  • Controlling the respect of the defined rules


6. Reporting

  • Each improvement action must be followed and kept in a specific documents’ library
  • Specific KPIs to the supply chains must be defined, proposed to the Governance Committee, and periodically edited.


Additional tasks ;


Implement Textile Governance Committee:

  • Define the terms of reference
  • Coordinate and organize the periodic meetings
  • Provides minutes to all members and relative stakeholders



Support R&I team for data collection and supply chain understanding





More than 8 years of experience in quality and procurement including sustainability topics, you have a Senior profile knowing the textile environment.

During your career, you demonstrated excellent project Management skills with relationship skills and ability to work in a transversal and international environment.


You belong a change management experience and you show autonomy and ability to structure his/her own work and the work of others.


For sure, you have excellent oral and written communication skills both in English and French.
