JOB TITLE:           Import Export Manager
LOCATION:           Fukagawa
REPORTING TO:    Import / Export Senior Manager

 

Responsibilities include: 
◆Team/People management to bring the best performance of each staff
◆Support team staff to perform smooth import/export process by communicating brands, 
customs vendor, and necessary parties
◆Educate teams for necessary skills/knowledges about import regulations and law
◆Monitor performance, analyze and propose solutions(KPI management)
◆High sense of saving/reducing import duty/tax by using knowledge of Customs Tariff Act.
◆Promote work efficiency and be able to have high communication skill within the team.
◆High sense of solving problems by finding an appropriate solutions

 

KEY RESULT AREAS AND MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

◆Overall trade related procedures to be handled and controlled with high sense of laws, regulations and Richemont compliance.
◆Monitor/manage of optimum duties in conformity with a law (deferred payment, article 19, article 11, EPA, etc.).

◆Control and evaluate forwarders and customes brokers.
◆Build/value teamwork and create trust for smooth operations with brands/maisons, team members, related other parties, vendors and Richemont HQ. 
 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
◆Experience of Import and export (preferred) more than around 5 years in fashion / luxury, or other similar retail industry.
◆Experience of leadership to manage team and people more than around 2 years.
◆Experience of managing daily customs clearance operation by Air(MUST), Ocean and Courier with customs brokers.
◆Strong customs related working knowledge in
・Incoterms,
・Deferred payment
・Harmonized tariff classification
・Duty saving/exemption (article 19 under the customs tariff law, article 11 and repair products)
・ATA CARNET
・CITES
・EPA
・Food Sanitation, etc.
◆Knowledge of bonded products. (preferred)
◆Good communication skills in both English and Japanese.
◆Intermediate or higher skill of Excel, Word, Power Point.
◆TOEIC 800+
◆SAP or similar experience 
 

EDUCATION
◆More than a university graduate.
