Supply Chain Manager - Pelletteria Richemont Firenze

Reporting to the Industrial Director, the supply chain manager will be responsible for all planning, production and purchasing activities linked to the Maison. With the support of his team, he/she assures that operations objectives, regarding production capacity, delivery rate or cost efficiency, are met or puts in place action plans to reach them.

The supply chain manager is in charge of manufacturers/suppliers relationship and will collaborate with them on a daily basis, for product categories of LLG, MLG, SLG and Belts




Production and Purchasing performance management

  • Build and maintain good relationships with vendors.
  • With the support of his team, monitors production performance at each step of the process. Defines and edits Performance KPI, with Vendor Rating, for suppliers and manufacturers.
  • Animates regular meetings with each partner for performance review and follows, with his team, implementation of action plans.
  • Supports operationally his team with prioritization for capacity allocation at manufacturers, and manages priorities or action plans at the PRF logistic center for shipments to the logistic center.
  • Selects and manages the start-up operations to introduce suitable new manufacturers, partners and suppliers, whenever needed
  • Guarantees the follow up and respect of CSR topics and whatever compliance topic requested by Richemont Group about suppliers and manufacturers, in collaboration with Industrial Director and PRF CSR team
  • In coordination with continuous improvement teams, leads improvement actions to reduce production and purchasing lead-times.




Guarantees the success of the Maison’s launch plan for novelties, with deliveries in time, meeting the requested profitability and the quality requirements

  • Gets a deep understanding of Maison’s culture and major challenges
  • Assures efficient coordination between purchasing, industrialization and production phases, in order to guarantee novelties in time, at the right price and appropriate quality. Prepare with operational teams alerts / reports if discrepancies
  • Follows the milestones of novelties projects on weekly base. Participates actively to the weekly novelties meeting and provides corrective actions to eventual production/purchasing issues.
  • Works with the other teams of quality, PD and the Continuous Improvement Team to shorten the Time To Market of novelties or identifies process bottleneck and implement solutions in a timely manner



Management of the mid and long term planning activities in PRF

  • Runs with his team the cycles of planning in PRF (seasonal and carry over), in collaboration with manufacturers and Maison’s Operations/Demand teams. Prepares, with his team, workload analysis for mid/long term horizon and validates with the development team manufacturer allocations.
  • Select and proposes alternatives in case of overload or potential lack of production.
  • Synthetizes the agreed plan for the whole horizon and constantly shares and monitors it with Demand team of Maison.



Stock Level Management

  • Controls the results of the monthly MRP cycle. Validates creation / reduction of security or flexibility stocks, according to production forecasts
  • Monitors on a monthly basis the total stock level at PRF (stock + WIP). With Industrial Director, defines action plans to meet stock level objectives
  • Manages, with Industrial Director, components destruction processes and 2nd Choice flows.



Products cost efficiency

  • Validates industrialization engineer proposals for labor time and façon cost for each product. If needed, leads negotiation with manufacturers. Validates consolidated cost sheets for new products or when updated.
  • Monitors material consumptions on a monthly basis. Adjust consumption when needed or defines action plans with PRF departments and manufacturers to reduce consumptions.
  • In collaboration with Industrial Director and with the support of his team, implement actions to reduce COGS on a regular basis, while assuring quality standards.





  • Bachelor’s degree in engineer, economics, statistic, mathematics or related fields. APICS certification is a plus
  • At least 15 years of experience in similar roles, supply chain, forecasting and demand planning
  • Fluent English communication skills
  • Proficiency in Excel and SAP
  • Knowledge of demand management/forecasting tools, operations, manufacturing and supply chain issues
  • Good communication and team building skills
  • Detail oriented, extreme accuracy and strong analytical abilities
  • Proactive attitude
  • Knowledge of key inventory performance metrics
