Primary Duties
The Business Development Analyst provides key decision-making insights to Richemont and its Maisons in the region. He/she uses internal analytics and assets to analyse and report on the business performance, as well as market/local field research to gather and share intelligence to inform about our ecosystem. He/she is ultimately the reference point and industry expert within the company for our region.
Key Responsibilities
● Build methodology for data collection
a)Identify source of data and build methodology :
•Define data collection methodology
•Evaluate data source credibility and potential utility and leverage them across the company where appropriate
•Identify/Maintain budget for market intelligence source, if applicable
b)Build and maintain a data collection model :
•Frequently gather, analyse and update relevant data on the local markets' trends
•Maintain up-to-date data sources
•Form a go-to database used for quarterly reports & on ad-hoc basis
•Perform regular market visits to meet and connect with key stakeholders on the ground
•Build strong working relation with a diverse range of stakeholders internally and externally
c)Foster synergies and efficiencies
•Share relative data cross-Maison to become stronger, more present and competitive in our region
•Maintain the use of strategic analysis and market intelligence and ensures intelligence is shared with appropriate groups and individuals
•Act as the region’s Richemont point of contact for Group market intelligence to voice our region’s needs in terms of market analysis and leverage synergies and exploit efficiencies whenever possible
2. Insight on the regional market /competitors
a)Provide a pulse of the market proactively and on demand:
•Overview on the health of the market, major events, tourism, key players and real estate dynamics
•Provide easily replicable reports on other markets
•Translate data into actionable and effective market and intelligence reports for use in internal strategies and presentations.
•Apply industry knowledge to interpret data and improve performance.
b)Offer an outlook for the future:
•Help the Maisons focus on what is important for their short, mid and long-term strategic plans
•Uncover business opportunities by reviewing market and competition data
•Leverage the group scale to benefit from each other’s information
