HR Intern

The main purpose of the role is to support the HR Managers with the administrative and operational requirements of the department while learning and developing hands-on HR experience in a global luxury retail group with high operating standards.




Employee Relations:


  • Be the point of contact for the day to day employee queries and interpretation of HR policy and procedures on below topics:
    • Induction
    • Onboarding & off-boarding
    • Work time
    • All leave types
    • Schooling benefit
    • Relocation
    • Employee referral
    • Any other policy related queries
  • Coordinate and follow-up new joiner’s on-boarding processes with the HR Admin. for smooth integration and alert the HRMs for any concerns/blockages
  • Book and conduct the on-boarding de-brief call with the overseas joiners to introduce the step by step by onboarding and relocation processes in the UAE and address any queries
  • In co-ordination with the line managers and the HR Operations team, support to ensure the new joiners’ IT and facility equipment are ready on their joining date.
  • Support the internal mobility process by scheduling onboarding introduction calls with the international mobility candidates to take them through the visa and relocation processes in detail.


HRIS Maintenance:


  • Extract SAP reports on a monthly basis to cross check and validate the accuracy of HRIS data




  • Take ownership of the vacancies report; maintain the report up-to-date by entering all appointed vacancies with the required details, resignations, leavers, anticipated mobility and promotions
  • Participate in the interviews of below positions to get familiarized with the screening process:
    • Sales Associate/ Client Advisor
    • Entry level marketing & PR positions
    • Admin roles
    • Interns 
  • Support the HRMs in uploading vacancies on Tawteen website and follow up Tawteen related requirements
  • Contact the final shortlisted Sales Associate candidates to congratulate and introduce the offer terms& conditions before sending out the employment offers. Address candidate queries and flag any concerns to the HR Managers


HR Projects:


  • Coordinate logistics of the bi-monthly boutique managers’ meetings
  • Work closely with the HR Admin. to feed the HRMs with the monthly HR KPIs




  • Holder of Bachelor’s degree and/or HR qualification (CIPD /HRMS etc.)
  • Fresh graduate with HR internship experience
  • Ability and willingness to build relationships with employees
  • Good communicator with strong interpersonal skills
  • Empathetic and active listener
  • Results driven with can-do attitude coupled with strong work ethics
  • Well organized, structured and good follow-up skills
  • Willingness to learn and develop in the HR field
  • Excellent writing skills in English language
  • MS office capability: Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook
