Operations Lead - Evening Shift

Effectively employ labor resources to established operational metrics: production, quality, housekeeping, safety, and costs.



  • Organize and assign daily work to meet daily operational demands by established target dates and goals;  Lead and foster an effective high performing team environment across all areas of responsibility; Act as a leader and a coach to provide guidance, direction, and development to team members.

  • Ensure safe and efficient operations within areas of responsibility, while complying with defined policies & procedures, internal controls, and regulatory requirements; ensure consistent execution of procedures and take appropriate action when needed.

  • Foster a continuous improvement culture within areas of responsibility; Lead, plan, and direct agreed upon Lean and 5S improvement initiatives; Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities for optimizing the facility operations.

  • Develop, implement, and lead quality management system elements.

  • Performs shift communication plans which includes staffing, daily operation goals and pass downs; partners with Supervisor/Management and seeks guidance where necessary.

  • Actively participate to business development initiatives and projects as assigned.

  • Strong operational knowledge of SAP EWM, mechanization, and product flows; troubleshoot and identify constraints.




  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Post high school continuing education a plus.

Required Experience:

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in operations or similar type of environment.

  • Understanding of Logistics processes (Inbound, Outbound, Returns, Inventory, and Planning Scheduling, etc.) a plus

  • Experienced with WMS systems: SAP is a preference

Technical Skills / Abilities:

  • Expert user of SAP Extended Warehouse Management tools (EWM) & working knowledge of SAP.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Skype, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc); ability to export, format, and manipulate documents from SAP and reporting tools.

  • Independently manage tasks/projects within the operation.

  • Fluent with professional English communication: both verbal and written

Personal Skills:

  • Cannot be on any coaching or disciplinary action within the last 12 months.
  • Solid interpersonal skills with proven ability to develop and maintain effective business partner relationships with key stakeholders and functions.

  • Proactive and confident in leading team meetings and presentations.

  • Ability to think practically, diagnose situations, identify patterns or connections, and address key underlying issue.

  • Flexibility to adapt quickly to changing circumstances. Must be flexible in working different departments, functions, and shifts.

  • Ability to proactively and professionally challenge the status quo and identify solutions in a timely manner.

  • Must be able to work independently, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and organize workload to meet organizational timelines in a fast paced, very high-growth environment
