MISSION

 

We offer a 6-month duration internship as of February 2025. In this role, you will be in charge of conducting work in the field of acoustic signal analysis.

 

RESPONSABILITIES

 

In close collaboration with the R&I Transversal Innovation Office and the  Performance and Reliability teams, and under the responsibility of your internship supervisor, your missions will be as follows in the context of developing a new test tool:

 

• Take ownership of the tool.

• Identify the parameters of importance for the capability and accuracy of the implemented acoustic signal analysis.

• Define and carry out a test and validation plan.

• Develop the means of analyzing the results.

• Analyze the results in collaboration with the teams, validate their accuracy and the robustness of the analysis.

• Participate in various meetings and present the results.

 

PROFILE

 

You are a student in engineering sciences, master's level and you have a good knowledge of signal analysis and acoustics.

Able to carry out a test plan and analyze the results, you have a particular interest in mechanical watchmaking. Dynamic, organized and autonomous, you have a good spirit of synthesis

and are a force of suggestion. With good interpersonal skills, you demonstrate ease of writing and analytical rigor.

 

Fluent in French. English proficiency is a plus.

 

Based mainly in Buttes at the Manufacture ValFleurier, you will also have the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues from other research sectors within our hub located in Microcity,

Neuchâtel.
