The Group Consolidation and Reporting department has global responsibility for preparation of monthly consolidated financial information for Group and Maisons. This comprises, i.a.: 
•    Providing information to external consolidated financial statements and other externally published financial information (press release, external analysts’ presentation)
•    Ensuring correct application of Group policies and procedures by all reporting entities

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting directly to the Group Technical Accounting Manager this role will be responsible for the following responsibilities, including but not limited to:

•    Active involvement in preparation of group external reporting (Annual and interim consolidated financial statements, compensation report, trading statements and analysts’ presentations)
•    Research and preparation of Richemont Reporting Position Papers and memos on IFRS application and/or specific transactions
•    Preparation, review and update of Richemont accounting policies
•    Responding to questions from local teams on accounting and reporting policies
•    Assistance with monthly reviews of financial data received from local reporting entities
•    Responsibility for specific central processes, which may include tax reporting, pension reporting, IFRS 2, etc.
•    Review and reporting of senior executive compensation and other HR-related matters, including preparation of information for the Compensation Committee – assistance to the Secretary to the Compensation Committee
•    Ad hoc due diligences (travel may be required)

 

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
•    Structured, reliable and diligent, demonstrating attention to detail and good analytical skills
•    Self-motivated and autonomous with capability to work independently
•    Ability to consolidate and summarise information appropriate to the audience
•    Availability during the monthly closing periods is essential
•    Good communication and interpersonal skills, diplomacy and confidentiality required 

 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

•    Fluency in spoken and written English (Italian / French is a plus)
•    3 to 7 years of professional experience
•    Recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent) 
•    Applied knowledge of IFRS is a must
•    Solid background in finance/management reporting/controlling gained within a multinational company ideally backed with a previous auditing experienced
•    Excellent literacy of ERP systems as well as basic computer tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) 
•    Familiarity with SAP is a plus
