CONTEXT

The Richemont Group Tax Department is recruiting an Indirect Tax Specialist to reinforce its Tax Team.
Reporting to the Indirect Tax Director, the Indirect Tax Specialist will work in close cooperation with the Group support functions (mainly finance, supply chain, and IT), Brands and Regional functions. The Indirect Tax Specialist will support the Indirect Tax function with its special skillset, as well as the wider Tax Team, including Transfer Pricing and Tax Risk Management with automation solutions and operations.

 

HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?

 

  1. Indirect Tax Governance and Management (60%):
     
  • Ensure compliant implementation of group operating model from an indirect tax perspective;
  • Monitor regulatory changes and ensure its local implementation;
  • Support new business initiatives, projects in partnership with group functions, regions and Maisons;
  • Support the local finance teams in indirect tax queries, audits and other controversy;
  • Support the operation of tax control framework, specially from indirect tax angle;
  • Participate in tax reporting, deferred tax review and total tax contribution.

 

  1. Indirect Tax Automation (30%):
     
  • Support continuous ERP enhancements, roll-outs and major transformation (S/4 HANA upgrade);
  • Maintain and develop tax technology tools for monitoring of compliance, risk management;
  • Support local finance in the deployment of e-reporting/e-invoicing solutions;
  • Develop the landscape of indirect tax digital and data transformation, use of data analytics.

 

  1. Transfer pricing Operations (10%):

    Assist transfer pricing team in the following tasks:
  • The implementation of transfer price initial setting and changes in ERP;
  • The monitoring of the transfer prices at reference level on exceptional cases in the context of customs compliance.

Experience, Language Proficiency & Skills 

 

  • University Graduate in Accounting, Finance or data related discipline;
  • 5-6 years’ experience in a multinational company, preferably in indirect taxation, finance or data analysis (previous experience in in-house indirect tax or tax technology role is strongly preferred);
  • Proficient in English (written and spoken); French is a plus
  • Strong knowledge of SAP environment;
