MAIN PURPOSE

 

The Senior Master Data Administrator is part of the Finance Business Process Integrator office within Richemont’s Group Finance, and play an important, multi-faceted role, on a global scope.

 

The Finance Business Process Integrator office has a significant responsibility in defining, improving, and implementing operational procedures and promoting best practices and compliance, in accordance with Group guidelines, on all financially relevant systems of the Group.

 

The successful candidate will work on key team projects initiated by or impacting Finance, alongside, coordinating with and across Richemont’s business and IT resources, at central and regional level, with special focus on articles master data and article hierarchy

S/he is expected to demonstrate autonomy, take over responsibility and provide valuable contribution to the area of article master data, analytics and management projects, working with both business and IT (mainly SAP) counterparts.

S/he will also act as an interface with a variety of stakeholders from functions and technology at a central, regional, local and Maison level.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

 

The Senior Master Data Administrator will be responsible for the following activities:

Coordinating and maintaining controlling view structure in Richemont Finance consolidation and planning tool(s)

  • Collect from Brands’ Finance their requirement for changes for the following fiscal year keeping FP&A and other Group Finance team members aware if required.
  • Maintain controlling view structure in relevant application(s) and associated master data.
  • Ensure compliance with Richemont Product Segments (PRS) definition and coherency with article hierarchy in ERP as well as current structure.
  • Eventually cope with changes during the fiscal year (renaming, creating new ones when new brands must be added or existing brands plan to start selling new products categories).

 

Manage the official Group article hierarchy in ERP for the next Fiscal Year

  • Collect from Brand MDM/ Brand Marketing teams changes required for the following fiscal year.
  • Ensure coherency with
    • the changes required on controlling views structure by Brands’ Finance
    • Requirements from tools using this hierarchy
    • Group Finance product master data definition
    • Existing logic used by each Brand
  • Maintain the article hierarchy, coordinate articles reassignment, and ensure PRS is not changed by it, coordinate planning and article hierarchy activation at the beginning of the fiscal year (between Brand MDMs and impacted EAS teams).
  • Provide to DECLAR levels where article will be treated individually for margin elimination purposes with DECLAR
  • Coordinate clean-up requirements (e.g. levels without nodes, nodes without articles attached to them etc…)

 

Manage the official Group article hierarchy in ERP during the year

  • Maintain AH based on Brands’ requirements ensuring Group Finance guidelines are met. Ensure coding is unique and communicate appropriately (e.g. changes to individual levels).
  • Coordinate transfer to DIAMANT/DECLAR on a monthly base
  • Assign article coding prefix to Brands when needed

 

Manage Changes on  article MD

  • Validate request for changes (e.g. mass changes of financially relevant data)
  • Investigate issues and define next steps after investigation (e.g. assess root cause, ensure with BMDMs listing rules are updated when obsolete). This may include one off studies on article MD
  • Review, assess and prioritize Enhancement requests (e.g. changes in interfaces, new merchandize categories or valuation classes etc…)
  • Handle new fields requests or update of Richemont values in Article MD (through rollout projects, compliance request or on ad hoc basis)

 

Manage Service article creation

  • Define/update Group template for Service article Creation
  • Review new article requests and validate them with primarily focus on finance impacts related to creation of such articles.

 

Animate BMDM community & coordinate documentation is up to date in One Wiki documentation tool.

 

Handle Customer groups and impacts on financial tools.

 

 REQUIREMENTS

  • University graduate, with minimum 10 years of relevant experience in SAP ERP ECC (knowledge of S/4 in a plus).
  • Experience of the Richemont Group (products, structure).
