MAIN PURPOSE

The Group Finance Manager will be responsible for coordinating and delivering projects initiated by or impacting Finance, in close coordination with key actors within the Central and local teams to ensure proper business change and knowledge management.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

Project Management:

  • Work closely with finance project teams, product owners, teams leaders, central and regional SMEs, as well as group technology team.
  • Support Finance PMO in structuring projects covering all project phases according to the project management framework.
  • Create project plan including timing and resources, wherever necessary ensure collaboration with other project managers (i.e.: from technology/local/regional team)
  • Plan project meetings and ensure escalation of gaps requiring either change management actions and/or issue resolution
  • Establish efficient project communication strategy.
  • Ensure respect of deadline: send regular project plan update to all stakeholders, provide visibility on remediation plan if necessary and its relevant progress and prepare key meetings and corresponding presentations
  • Participate in other global/non-finance projects and act as a facilitator to redirect issues/questions to the correct finance owner/expert
  • Establish a finance Demand management system and manage the project portfolios in coordination with group technology.

 

Support Business Change Management:

  • Support business in change management approach; share best practices         
  • communicate the benefits and objectives to receive buy-in from business.
  • Communicate and track the key performance indicators for benefit realization
  • Prepare affected business areas for transition to the new way of working; potentially implement new business processes; optimize the timing of the release of new deliverables into business operations

 

Support the Knowledge Manager:

  • Ensure that training support, tools and documents are created, communicated, and shared
  • Ensure that the update and modification of operating model documentation follows the proper governance

 

KEY COMPETENCIES & SKILLS

  •  
  • Strong project management skills; good knowledge of finance processes and accounting guidelines.
  • SAP technical skills is required, S4 knowhow is a plus.
  • PMP certificate is a plus.
  • High level of personal integrity and motivation, trustworthy and reliable with a strong analytical mindset
  • Capable of managing complex business topics with integration to other domains.
  • Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner
  • Team player with challenging partnership; ability to challenge the status quo and propose improvement opportunities
  • Adept at handling a matrix environment with multiple stakeholders

 

 REQUIREMENTS

  • University graduate with minimum 5 years of relevant experience in SAP project management
  • Experience in projects for large matrix organization is a strong requirement
  • Good knowledge of the Group and of the Maisons
  • Proficiency in English is required; French or other languages are a plus
  • Travels up to 10-20%
