As Director of Digital Strategy & Transformation you will be at the center of the Group Digital Transformation activities for Richemont Group.  You will support the Chief Digital Officer and Group Digital Distribution team in setting the strategy & vision for Richemont Group’s continued digital transformation and growth including setting priorities, key initiatives & KPIs and driving execution on mission-critical digital initiatives.   Reporting to the Chief Digital Officer, this is a unique and high-profile opportunity to sit at the forefront of charting the future for Richemont’s digital strategy and Luxury New Retail. 



Overall support

  • Support Chief Digital officer and GDD team in setting the vision, key priorities, and success metrics and performance framework for Richemont Group’s key digital, omnichannel, and New Luxury Retail priorities globally in service of Richemont’s portfolio of Maisons
  • Facilitate key strategic planning and operational processes.  Provide expertise and program management for key strategic initiatives driven by the Chief Digital Officer and Group Digital Distribution team
  • Evaluate key strategic and operational opportunities and external partnership landscape; frame and synthesize these opportunities into clear and compelling recommendations and business cases; and obtain support and input from leadership and key cross-functional teams 
  • Support Maisons in embedding and elevating e-commerce and data best practices, capabilities, and expertise into their organization and operations
  • Research competitor, partner, and industry trends, as well as key external and internal developments across online retail.  Synthesize insights and opportunities into to be shared with internal and external audiences to drive direction of Richemont Group’s digital strategy


Strategic initiatives

  • Drive key cross-functional projects and initiatives and serve as project lead in incubating early-stage opportunities and innovations
  • Drive the day-to-day development, execution, and tracking of strategic business initiatives in close collaboration with relevant teams across Richemont and external partners
  • Monitor business impact of initiatives, working closely with teams to convey and communicate the impact of initiates across the organization


Communication & Training

  • Prepare regular communications to key stakeholders and C-suite executives on initiative progress, status updates, and any key blockers
  • Drive overall rhythm of the business and agenda for key steering meetings and councils to drive direction of key strategic priorities
  • Orchestrate engagement plans and agendas for key touchpoints with digital leaders across Maisons, Categories, and Regions
  • Organize speaker series, trainings, and communications cadence to animate the broader Richemont digital and Richemont community at large, including building content and insights for key presentations.


Additional responsibilities

  • Collaborate across the organization to mobilize and align teams toward common goals.  Build strong, trust-based relationships internally and externally, at all levels of the organization, enriched by your in-depth knowledge of the broader technology and e-Commerce landscape
  • Support assessment and engagement of key technology vendors and external service partners as needed.  Track budget, delivery timelines, and impact of external vendors



You have 10 - 15 years of experience including in e-commerce strategy and operations, management consulting; and/or commensurate experience in a strategy, business transformation or business development at a leading technology, e-commerce, or luxury company; MBA preferred

  • Excellent communication skills with ability to synthesize and present complex concepts simply, accurately, and clearly to both executive leadership and operational teams, adapting style and medium to different audiences as needed. 
  • Ability to strategize, design and execute towards ambitious goals, and generate creative new approaches to solving business problems; High mental agility and flexibility in navigating complex and changing environments
  • Self-motivated, self-aware and able to facilitate & drive collaborative cross-business and cross-functional success with limited guidance
  • Superior problem solving and analytical skills, adept at taking a data-driven, analytical approach to problem solving and decisions, leveraging business acumen and commercial judgement where information is incomplete
  • Lead, manage & mobilize team members and key relationships in a dynamic organization – an enthusiastic change champion with the emotional intelligence and empathy to drive innovation in a multi-faceted stakeholder environment
  • Passion for driving concrete business impact and execution, and seeing ideas to fruition 
  • Great listening skills; adept at building rapport and a strong network of relationships across all levels of the organization
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills, as well as a structured way of working and communicating.  Diligent with consistent follow through
  • Experience working globally, with e-Commerce and/or luxury experience preferred
  • Positive mindset and can-do attitude
  • Strong Microsoft Office, Excel, and Presentation skills
  • Fluent in English, French skills are a solid plus
