CONTEXT

 

Richemont, one of the world leaders in the luxury sector, has various Maisons specializing in high jewelry, fine watch-making and high-end accessories. Each Maison proudly embodies a tradition of style, quality and craftsmanship and Richemont strives to preserve their heritage and floodlight them, especially through its Retail Network.

The Real Estate team is at the heart of the Group strategy, managing more than 1 300 boutiques worldwide and around 1 million sqm of facilities. The Business & Market Intelligence Manager role will cover all Maisons and all operations (Retail, offices & other facilities) and will report to the Real Estate Strategic Planning Director.

 

 

HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT? 

 

Monitor Real Estate data interacting with all Group stakeholders (Top Management, Functions, Regions, Maisons)

  • Coordinate Group Real Estate worldwide data flows on Real Estate Business intelligence: Business performance, Leasing activity, Network evolution, rental terms evolution, CAPEX, Group Investments process, Top cities/malls…, with the support of a master data specialist in the team
  • Monitor collection and analysis of Market intelligence centrally, while coordinating local teams and activities related to industry insights
  • Interact with our local teams and proper Group functions (Finance, IT, Store Development Planning - SDP, Procurement, Retail) to better build, update and optimize the inputs and the reporting tools while ensuring data reliability

 

Manage Business Intelligence Reporting for all Real Estate streams (Retail, Offices & other)

  • Build in-depth understanding of the Real Estate business and its specifics by country
  • Building on strong data, develop a robust reporting package to deliver key information to Group Real Estate stakeholders and Group management on a recurrent basis
  • Develop and implement robust data visualization tools to strive in delivering key results and take-aways 
  • Deep-dive on the analysis, become the go-to person, stay ahead of business dynamics and answer ad-hoc requests, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of information
  • Propose Targets, KPIs or strategic axis to develop and monitor, or new analysis area


Focus on Retail activity monitoring to support Leasing/Procurement/SDP functions

  • Coordinate strategic meetings with Maisons and Top Management, providing internal and external benchmarks
  • Monitor 3 Year Plans updates with Maisons and Regions on a recurring basis, enabling pro-active support to the Maisons on Leasing/SDP/Procurement
  • Closely work with Finance team to analyze and monitor sales / rental costs / profitability for the current network and future projects. Propose Real Estate action plans accordingly

 

 

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE?

 

  • You have a Master’s degree in Science, Engineering or Economics
  • You have 5-10 years’ experience in Business/Market intelligence, Sales or Finance, preferably linked to a Luxury Retail environment
  • You are fluent in English with strong oral and written communication skills, and ability to present findings in a clear and concise manner (French is a great plus, any other European language is a plus)
  • You have proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Ideally, you have already experienced working with ERPs (ideally SAP) and have already a strong background of using data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau or similar)
  • You are collaborative and agile, able to build strong relationships with international stakeholders and counterparts, and also work effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • You have strong analytical skills with the ability to manage, manipulate and analyze complex data sets, and draw actionable insights
  • You are self-motivated with a strong drive for achievement : you can manage multiple projects simultaneously, you know how to prioritize and you like to work in a highly dynamic and fast-paced working environment
