HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?
The Security and HSE Intern shall be involved in specific Security and HS related projects in order to optimize the quality and efficiency of security and safety aspects by combining the optimal balance between manpower and technology.
WHAT WILL BE YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES?
- Play a key role in interesting projects to optimize the PSHSE environment within our market area to include but not limit to:
- Creating overviews of security installations in our Boutiques in 5 countries and our Head Office in Amsterdam.
- Evaluating current measures and creating a GAP analysis
- Exploring innovative solutions (both technological and organizational) to increase efficiency of services
- Creating business plans for the improvement and implementation
- Updating and optimizing GSOP (Guarding Standard Operating Procedures)
- Updating and optimizing training programme
- Regional and local support in PSH&S topics across divisions
- Head office, warehouse and boutiques in 5 countries.
HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US?
- 3rd year student, preferably route Security Management
- Strong business, commercial skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Team player
- No 9 – 5 mentality.
- Well-developed communication, influencing and negotiation skills
- Ability to be assertive
- Tactful diplomat able to work across hierarchies and functions
- Ability to work in a matrix organization, familiar with fast pace.
- Strong drive for results
- Catalyst for change and continuous improvement
- Language skills in Dutch and English
In order to be eligible for the internship, you must be enrolled for the full 6-month duration.
