Richemont, Benelux & Nordics - E-commerce Business Analyst

 

HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?

 

As part of the data analytics team and under the leadership of the Business Development Manager, the e-Commerce & CRC Business Analyst will be responsible for analytics and reporting. You will support operations, business development initiatives, projects, business planning activities and create business insights to support data-driven decision-making. Liaising with cross-functional teams, you will support the development of local e-Commerce and CRC (Client Relations Center) for more than 25 European countries. You will be involved with various projects and operational areas and will work closely with Maisons, Logistics, IT, Client Relations Center as well as central Richemont digital teams.

 

Key responsibilities

 

Business Development

 

  • Support the definition and execution of regional e-commerce efficiency projects and be an active contributor to the Group Transformation projects, especially those linked to digitalization, data and IT in general
  • Support the operational leads in analyzing and monitoring operational performances and identifying bottlenecks
  • Support the Operations teams in understanding the root causes for any operational inefficiencies and contribute to fixing them
  • Support in defining meaningful targets and KPIs to improve and drive operational performances
  • Act as a project manager in data-driven projects
  • Be a strong contributor to new ideas and innovations that help to strengthen our Maisons brand equity, develop our European business and gain market shares
  • Co-lead with BD Manager the data portfolio of initiatives and agenda (improvements, issues, recurring tasks, projects)
  • Develop business cases in collaboration with business functions and Maisons (Full Assessment)

 

Analytics & Reporting

 

  • Support the business with up-to-date business insights to support data-driven decision making
  • Prepare trend analyses and presentations
  • Build and evolve all level reports and dashboards for all business units which are part of the E-com operations
  • Support the visibility of business performance and operations
  • Analyze business performance and provide recommendations to the business on improvement opportunities. Flag the operational risks revealed by the data to the management
  • Ensure data quality and integrity in our reports & dashboards
  • Support ad hoc analysis requests for operational and planning needs
  • Support analytical requests for business cases
  • Maintain functional process mapping and documentation

 

Business Planning

 

  • Provide data insights and support preparation of the budget process (data gathering, forecasting, recommendations, etc.)
  • Provide data insights for defining annual KPIs and strategic targets
  • Build and maintain data-based sales and performance target for the CRC
  • Support the management in identifying business development priorities based on the data analysis
  • Monitor performance in comparison with objectives set with Maisons and Group functions, and recommend action plans to improve them as needed
  • Build Sales & Operational rolling forecasts to feed the Sales & Operations meeting.
  • Constantly improve the forecasting methodology to support operational executions especially in the peak periods (annual, monthly, and daily levels where applicable)

 

 HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US?

 

  • Strong analytical skills and solution-oriented approach
  • Ability to manipulate and condense large volumes of data into succinct and powerful visualizations (graphs, charts, diagrams, dashboards, pivot tables)
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills and ability to present complicated data topics for a non-specialized audience
  • Ability to work independently, drive results and pro-activity attitude
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement tools and techniques is an advantage
  • Team player
  • Knowledge of Data analytics tools and BI is mandatory (SAC, Dataiku, or similar) and GCP and Looker experience is strongly preferred 
  • Knowledge of a least one programming language (Python, R, etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of SQL
  • Experience with translating analytical insights into data driven business prioritization
  • Experience with reporting for various levels and groups of stakeholders
  • Strong business process understanding
  • Ability to build relations and network
