MAIN PURPOSE

 

Reporting to the CEO of Piaget in Japan, the Communication manager Japan defines and implements the communication strategy for Japan. In line with the Maisons strong identity and strategic direction, he/she conveys core value of watchmaking and jewelry reference, creativity, craftsmanship with story-telling and increases the Maisons awareness and share of voice.

 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Key responsibility 1 -  Strategic and Business plan

  • Consolidate the strategic thinking of the country under the leadership of the Brand Director, by bringing together with the other department (marketing and communication) to formalize a consistent and relevant communication strategic plan

 

Key responsibility 2  - Communication: PR/Advertising + Event & Promotion

  • Control and manage overall Communication budget and its optimization to achieve the strategic objectives in terms of reputation, image and sales
  • Plan and implement a strategic media plan including magazines, newspaper, digital, product placement to celebrities
  • Optimize the exposure to increase Maisons  awareness, visibility and share of voice to stand up among competitors whilst respecting identity and positioning of the Maison
  • Convey Maisons core value of prestige, creativity, craftsmanship by proper story telling
  • Establish strong connection and negotiation with editors, press, stylist and opinion leaders
  • Mange the media agency to achieve KPIs in line with the brand strategy
  • Work closely with commercial and marketing teams to support relevant CRM activities.
  • Directly manage and execute the digital owned media strategy (Website, LINE,..)

 

Key responsibility 3 Team Member Management

  • Manage and motivate Communication team members (currently 3 staffs )
  • Define and delegate each task efficiently and coach them to achieve concrete objectives
  • Provide factual feedback on both skills and behavior in order to help each team member develop in line with Maisons expectations

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • BA/MBA
  • Solid experience in communication position of an international firm
  • High level of English
  • PC (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
