  • Head of operations in Mainland China which covering merchandising, sales forecasts, Supply Chain excellence, Business intelligence, Customer service, IT Business development projects.
  • Scope of activity ranging from Watches, Jewellery, High Jewellery, High Jewellery watches, Accessories, Spare parts, Packaging material, and tools.




  • Supply Chain:
  •   Define optimal target stock and model stocks to minimize inventory levels while planning and anticipating future supplies to support booming sales developments
  •   Allocate stock across numerous stores (retail, wholesale) and online sales platforms for optimized sales results.
  •   Develop new logistics routes to accompany customer purchasing habits evolutions (offline/online, NDSK, Free trade zones, direct shipping, Temporary Imports, bounded warehouse).


  • Merchandising:
  •   Determine custom-made assortments based on each unique boutique’s client profile and competition environment.
  •   Create collaborative quarterly sales forecast for each sales channel & each SKU jointly with the China sales team and Headquarters Supply Chain teams.
  •   Provide customer trends insights & product development recommendations to HQ marketing product teams.
  •   Coordinate Go-to-Market product launches for novelties.


  • Business Analysis:
  •   Analyze and provide market trends and consumer purchasing habits to Local sales team and Headquarters management teams.
  •   Support Business needs by developing a new reporting system (BI/SAC), issuing monthly KPI reports, and preparing monthly Headquarters business reviews.
  •   Assist China managing director in the elaboration of the yearly strategic business plans.
  •   Monitor pricing strategy to ensure competitiveness in China across different channels and Maisons.


  • Project Management
  •   Supervise the implementation of the SAP ERP new operating system in China (Preparation, Testing, Training, Migration, Change Management, and Go Live).
  •   Support China network developments with the opening of numerous new boutiques, launching new eCom platforms and the implementation of new retail solutions (Omni-channels, digitalization of existing boutique network and launching Offline/Online merging solutions).
  •   Develop direct shipping routes between suppliers and Boutiques and POS for leather straps.
  •   Support communication team in the organization of large-scale events (Watches&Wonders, product launches, High Jewellery events).


  • Customer Service:
  •   Monitor Shanghai & Beijing repair platforms performances to ensure that Piaget quality and lead-times standards are met.
  •   Train all the boutique sales force to ensure global alignment on CS policy and improve client satisfaction.
  •    Equip all stores with suitable tools to maximize in-store client service (engraving, Cleaning, bracelet adjustments)


  • Commercial and Sales Support
  •   Participate in the definition distribution strategy in China: Retailization of network, Time-Vallee developments, distribution footprint in China (Tiers1/1.1/2/3).
  •   Attend sales business partner strategic collaboration meetings (Retailers, B2B partners, Ecom TP agencies)
  •   Develop new replenishment mechanisms to unlock sales potential (Booster functionalities implementation, Auto Sell out declaration stock refill, Warranty auto activations).
  •   Coordinate Product Roadshows, High Jewellery routings, Private sales.



Internal contacts:

  • Strong functional line of reporting with Country Managing Director. 
  • He/She will also liaise with the Heads of Commercial department
  • He/She will work closely with Marketing & Commercial teams within the Maison
  • He /She will be the main contact point with Richemont supporting departments




  • 10 years relevant experience preferably gained from a multinational company.
  • Highly proficient computer skills – intermediate to advanced level Excel, Word & PowerPoint,
  • Knowledge of SAP ERP System is a clear plus
  • Excellent command of English, Mandarin is an advantage.
  • Organized, efficient, good numerical skills, good attention to detail.
  • A team player with excellent inter-personnel skills.
  • Able to multitask, effectively lead & manage projects.
