MAIN PURPOSE

To be in charge of the merchandising and procurement of all Piaget products focus on Jewellery and Watch

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  1. Be in charge of product strategy plan
    • Key product strategic plan set up
      • Business plan set up based on HQ strategy and market trend
      • Sales estimation per product category and network
    • Planning and forecasting whole year’s sales in value by collection by network
      • Quarterly product forecast based on sales estimation
      • Drive alignment budget processes with APAC regional office and HQ
    • Yearly product launching preparation
      • Manage novelty launching plan
      • Lead key launching material development – launching note / Incentive scheme / launching BTQ/ Monitoring training material

 

  1. Analyze and manage stock status
    • Monitor central and boutique stock level in all network – Retail / WHS / DF/ ECOM
      • Prioritize best sellers / Event / SDP project
    • Ensure product assortment and model stock are aligned with market needs, forecast, and region/ global counterparties
      • Keep appropriate MDS level through regular meeting
    • Anticipate shortage and overstocks and apply required actions

 

  1. Product analysis and sales monitoring
    • Monitor sales trend of each boutique and product collection
    • Initiate best sellers sales and implement product incentive plan
      • Set up long term/ short term incentive plan to encourage staff motivation and sales
    • Product KPI management per BTQ
  1. High Jewellery & HTI category management
    • Be responsible for local event stock
      • Have in-depth understandings of client’s and btqs’ needs
      • Closely collaborate with High Jewelry manager for the event stock selection and operation
    • QC and damage report to HQ
    • Be responsible for carnet stock allocation and return between BTQ and HQ

 

  1. People management & teamwork
    • Collaborate with APAC regional office and other department to align brand strategy
    • Encourage btq staffs to understand the product strategy
      • Emphasise product strategy all year round through Product ambassador meeting
    • Ambassador program management
      • Set up ambassador program – Training contents / Entertainment / Product information
  1. Reporting / Meeting preparation
    • Monthly sales report / Weekly best sellers report
    • Support business review and strategic meeting
    • Monthly sales meeting / Quarterly product ambassador meeting
    • HQ meeting (upon request)

EXPERIENCE:

    • Over 10 years of professional experience related to Merchandising & Product (Luxury Jewellery and Watch, Fashion will be plus)
    • Excellent communication skills, excellent command in both spoken and written English
    • Strong analytical skills, detail-oriented, good planning and organizational skills
    • Pro-active approach to tasks and ability to manage several projects simultaneously and timely
    • Result-oriented
    • Team player
    • Driving business plans and represent the market with trends and gaps analysis
    • Experience in High Jewelry and HTI to enable formulation of event and product strategy
    • Sensitive to numbers, with strong analytical skills and detail-oriented
