PIAGET is headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland, and operates as a subsidiary of the Swiss luxury conglomerate Richemont.  Richemont Maisons encompass several of the most prestigious names in the luxury industry including Cartier, Van Cleef & Arpels, IWC, Panerai, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Vacheron Constantin, Montblanc, Alfred Dunhill and Chloe.

 

Overview

The Operations Assistant Manager is responsible for providing operational and administrative support to the PIAGET Operations function for the Americas.  This includes fielding a high volume of emails and calls; primarily responding to needs from our internal boutiques in addition to our authorized dealer network.

 

The Operations Assistant Manager will play a key role in ensuring timely invoicing, shipment, and deliveries; and execute SAP movements including but not limited to product inquiries, order entry, and allocations.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Key Responsibility # 1:  Sales Administration & Customer Service

  • Manage all aspects of Sales Order execution: confirmation, allocation, tracking
  • Respond to high volume of inquiries from boutiques and Authorized Dealers regarding product, price, availability and delivery of watches, jewelry, accessories
  • Monitor Open Orders including liaising with HQ to ensure stock needs are met
  • Process sales related transactions: markdowns, credit/debit memos, returns, stock balances
  • Ensure timely product delivery to boutiques and wholesale; partnering with logistics and finance
  • Manage employee sales and consignments including invoicing and processing in SAP

 

Key Responsibility # 2:  Merchandising & Inventory Management

  • Manage all aspects of Purchase Order execution to ensure accurate and timely processing of stock, accessories, and packaging to the Americas network
  • Responsible for weekly replenishment of boutiques including communicating with boutique management on needs and available stock, as well as shortages and substitutions
  • Coordinate with HQ Supply Chain to manage stock levels and ensure proper assortments
  • Monitor flow of incoming goods from Switzerland to ensure timely deliveries

 

Key Responsibility # 3:  Systems Management

Must be systems savvy with an ability to problem solve and troubleshoot

  • Provide Key User support as needed
  • Partner with IT/Systems support on a regular basis to clear red lights/system blocks in SAP
  • Manage EDI for National Accounts

 

Key Responsibility # 4:  Cross-functional Communication

Will be a primary contact for cross-functional teams including:

  • Logistics teams in US, Canada, Latin America, and Switzerland:  Outbound/Inbound, Inventory Control, Returns/QC, Import/Export, and Transportation
  • Finance & Credit dept to release orders
  • HQ in Switzerland:  Supply Chain, Operations, After-Sales Service

 

Key Responsibility # 5:  Reporting & Analytics

Will be required to monitor and/or execute reports including but not limited to:

  • Manage open orders report, open returns, shipments, and stock files to view stock/sales of boutiques
  • Support with sales and stock analytics including daily/weekly/monthly reports and ad hoc reports

 

QUALIFICATIONS and Experience

  • Minimum 3-4 years in Operations or comparable experience
  • Knowledge of Luxury Watch or Jewelry industry a plus
  • Experience working with luxury Department Stores a plus (Saks, Neiman’s)

 

TECHNICAL SKILLS/ABILITIES

  • Full command of SAP a must; including Sales side and Purchasing side
  • Proficiency in EXCEL a must including pivot tables, v-lookup, sum ifs
  • Knowledge of EXCEL Analysis and/or Power BI a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be able to quickly familiarize with brand history and key product offerings

Expected Salary Range: $ 80 000 - $ 90 000

Salary will be negotiated based on relevant skills and experience
