Founded in 1860 in Florence as a workshop, shop and subsequently school of watch-making, Panerai is renowned for producing high-precision instruments for the Italian Navy with a pulse on innovation and function. Protected by military secrets, these creations were only launched in the International market when the brand was acquired by Richemont Group in 1997.

Today, the Maison advances through cutting-edge research, sustainability, and empowering modern heroes with a team that passionately brings value to Panerai's distinctive mix of Italian spirit and Swiss watchmaking excellence.

Founded in Florence in 1860 as a workshop, shop and subsequently school of watch-making, for many decades Panerai supplied the Italian Navy and its specialist diving corps in particular with precision instruments. The designs developed by Panerai in that time, including the Luminor and Radiomir, were covered by the Military Secrets Act for many years and were launched on the international market only after the brand was acquired by the Richemont Group in 1997. Today Panerai develops and crafts its movements and watches at its Neuchâtel manufacture. The latter are a seamless melding of Italian design flair and history with Swiss horological expertise. Panerai watches are sold across the world through an exclusive network of distributors and Panerai boutiques.

 

HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?

Panerai is looking for a Boutique Director who will be responsible for the sales and client development of Singapore ION Flagship Boutique. You will lead a mature boutique team to effectively build and implement local strategies to develop sales, marketing, CRM and client services. You will report to the Commercial Director and will work in close collaboration with Marketing, Client Development and Retail Performance office team, based in Singapore.

 

HOW YOU CAN CONTRIBUTE?

  • Build and drive Panerai sales in the ION Boutique, elevating client experiences and profitability.
  • Enable the team’s  success in achieving the Maison’s KPIs and operating within approved guidelines.
  • Propose exclusive events for different categories of clients to drive client Recruitment, Retention and Re-engagement.
  • Working with the office team to ensure that Retail Performance, Visual Merchandising, and Client Services are delivered with excellence and within Maison guidelines.
  • Lead and nurture a team focused on delivering excellence and development by exemplifying the values of care, enriching communities, efficient accountability, and continuous improvement.

 

HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US?

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in sales management, leading retail within the field of luxury.
  • Demonstrated exceptional people management skills, able to inspire and develop your team.
  • Familiar with a matrix organization and strong stakeholder management with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Willing to be hands-on and entrepreneurship mindset.
