We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced 

 

Supply Chain Director
to join our team and ensure the seamless flow of our iconic timepieces.

YOUR MISSION:

Responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Maison's supply chain, from the sourcing of raw materials to the delivery of finished products to customers, including responsibility for stock models in subsidiaries, boutiques and distribution centres. 
As the guarantor of the S&OP and MPS cycles, the Supply Chain Director plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods and services, while minimising costs and maximising customer satisfaction.

 

HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?

  • You will propose and implement an appropriate sourcing policy to ensure compliance with the watch production plan, as well as the level of flexibility required by the market, by means of strong contracts and partnerships with strategic suppliers.
  • You will draw up the E2E S & OP plan, which must align all the functions with what we plan to sell, what we plan to have in stock, and what we need to produce and supply.
  • You will be in charge of forecast & demand planning and ensuring that distribution flows are optimised.  
  • You will coordinate quarterly updates of product life cycles in conjunction with product marketing and sales. 
  • You will ensure close cooperation with RID (Richemont International Distribution), being the Maison focal point for trading partner reviews and coordination of all downstream distribution projects.
  • You will assure smooth and regular information to the markets on the dates and quantities of products made available.
  • You will propose, obtain approval for and monitor stock targets and minimise the impact of provisions on Manufacture Panerai's stock through a sourcing policy tailored to requirements, and to help reduce the use of obsolete components in conjunction with the brand's product development department.
  • You will work with the production department to develop the loads/capacities and their level of flexibility required by the market. You will manage the manufacturing response to demand, leading the MPS. 
  • You will ensure organizational development in line with our vision/strategy to attract, develop and retain talents.

 

HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS

  • You have a University Degree in Supply chain or related field combined to extensive experience in-depth knowledge of an industrial or luxury environment.
  • You possess strong people management skills and business acumen that allow you to demonstrate excellent negotiating and relationship skills in any given context.
  • Using your high-level communication skills, you can support cross functional work and teams.
  • Your strong people and relation skills allow you to lead by example and inspire your teams.
  • Your well-developed aesthetic sense, your eye for detail made you develop into a passionate for mechanical watches and a true admirer of engineering and craftsmanship.
  • You are fluent in French and English, Italian language is a plus.
