Social Media Intern


Your Mission

The Social Media Intern will be responsible for supporting the Social Media team in executing the Social Media strategy by developing marketing materials, reporting and marketing strategies to increase the Panerai Digital presence worldwide through the effective use of social media outlets. The duties include coordinating the synergies between Panerai Headquarter, Media Agencies and Panerai Markets to implement the social media strategy worldwide, developing strong reporting system, coordinate the development of the relevant marketing materials to increase the Panerai Social Media relevance worldwide, the web site traffic and e-commerce sales in strong cooperation with the local marketing teams.  


How will you make an impact 

The Social Media Intern will support the Social Media Manager:


  • Supporting the Social Media team by enabling the relationship between Panerai local marketing teams and Media agencies in implementing the Social Media advertising campaigns worldwide and on developing dedicated social contents.  

  • Work closely with the Panerai local team to produce social editorial calendar, monitor the direct postings and produce related reportings. Panerai’s global social channels include but are not limited to: Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, Snapchat, Weibo, WeChat, Redbook, Douyin, Line and Kakaotalk. 

  • Ensuring that Social Media advertising campaigns are in line with the Panerai positioning, strategy, and brand DNA. 

  • Assisting the Social Media Manager in setting key performance indicators (KPIs) for social media campaigns and performance monitoring and reporting. 

  • Supporting the Benchmarking Analysis: competitors, positioning, and market trends. 

  • Working with marketing professionals to develop social media marketing contents 


How will you experience success 


  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Economics, Business or similar 

  • Fluent in English and Italian, written and spoken. The knowledge of French/ Chinese/ Japanese or Korean is considered a plus. 

  • Excellent knowledge and use of Microsoft Office Suite particularly Excel and PowerPoint. 

  • Strong project and communication skills with the ability to work well under pressure 

  • Precise with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills (able to analyze, assess data, determine trends and opportunities, identify problems, and propose solutions) 

  • Organized, with the ability to work proactively on multiple projects simultaneously and work independently and achieve established deadlines and goals.  

  • A previous digital marketing/social media management experience in a Fashion/Luxury industry or in an agency is appreciated. 

  • Knowledge of GA4, Meta Business Suites (Ad Manager, insights), Linkedin advertising manager, TikTok advertising platforms, Sprinklr platform are considered a plus.

Interview process
1st Stage – After your application has been selected, our recruitment team will reach out to you within 2 weeks to conduct an introductory call 
2nd Stage – Interview with Social Media Manager and our HR department. 
3rd Stage - An additional interview/business case with peers may be necessary.
