MAIN PURPOSE:

 

Stock Control and Distribution Specialist's mission is to support sales and management teams with analytical data, suggest and take proper actions to ensure a clean stock situation and pursue product allocations to maximize and achieve sales targets. Under the responsibility of Supply chain manager and in close collaboration with merchandiser, sales manager, her / his key roles are to execute fair and effective allocations, prepare various reporting and coordinate stock delivery to match with boutique needs and clients’ requests.

                                                                              

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  1.  Stock control & customer order management:

Perform regular stock analysis and suggest actions for product allocations and rebalancing between stores in line with boutique requests and events/fairs planning.

Define novelty stock distribution in collaboration with merchandiser, supply chain MGR and sales team.

Stock Preparation & support for boutique opening or pop-up stores in collaboration with MD and retail MGR.

Tracking and handling customer orders to maximize sales.

Participate in weekly local MD meeting and monthly MD/VMD BTQ meetings.

Ensure appropriate model stock levels are maintained as guided by merchandiser.

 

  1. Shipping operation and Inquiry handling:

Take care of defective products or discrepancy upon arrival or transferred between boutiques, coordinating with supply chain MGR, IT & Logistic teams.

Manage past limited edition or bulk orders from boutiques with MD & supply chain MGR.

Manage inquiries by internal chat system (Teams) and communicate with boutique colleagues.

Work closely with the logistics team to plan and coordinate shipments, ensuring timely delivery.

 

  1. Data Analysis:

Use of BI / Power-BI to develop daily / weekly / monthly automated reporting dashboards.

Develop dedicated useful reports for other departments such as stock analysis and retail performance.

Work in close collaboration with supply chain, merchandising, retail and WS teams and suggest actions to be taken from stock and allocation perspective.

Aggregate customer orders for Novelty and report to MD & Supply chain MGR.

Considering incoming products, predict shortages and request them to supply and MD.

 

 

 

Other:

3 to 5 years’ experience in merchandising or supply chain within Fashion or Luxury brand.

Business level of Japanese & Intermediate level of English.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, BI and Power-BI.

Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Multi-tasking skills.

SAP OTC/PTP experiences are a plus.

Attentive and patient, capability to listen to people's needs.

Other relevant analytical tools are a plus.

Flexible and able to manage stressful situations.
