E-Commerce Business Development Manager

MAIN PURPOSE

 

As the E-commerce Business Development Manager, he/she will be responsible for establishing and leading new EC programs and operations including new EC partnerships, new channel sales and other related functions to set a foundation for E-commerce further growth and develop our EC programs and business capabilities in China. This position will report to the Head of EC.

 

KEY RESULT AREAS AND MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Identify and lead EC channel sales partnerships and business development initiatives to fuel EC growth
  • Establish and implement systems methods and operation processes to build scalable commercial capabilities
  • Provide insightful market intel and data analysis
  • Partner cross functionally with marketing, finance, IT and global functions to define and refine new EC channel strategy, to drive strategic priorities and get things done

 

Job Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in EC function, experience of new channel set up is preferred
  • Douyin experience is preferred
  • Thrive in unstructured and multi-stakeholder settings to deliver results
  • Project/process management skills
  • Highly effective communicator with good people instincts – able to build trust and work well internally and externally
  • Quick learner
  • Highly organized, self-motivated and detail oriented, with great follow-through on projects/tasks big and small
  • Bachelor’s degree
