JOB TITLE Retail Area Manager / Retail Manager
REPORTING TO Commercial Director
LOCATION Seoul, Korea
OBJECTIVE OF THIS POSITION
The Retail Area Manager/Retail Manager is primary responsible for the management and development of Montblanc Retail & Outlet business in Korea and in charge of boutique sales performance and HR management. The position is reporting to Commercial Director of Montblanc Korea and collaborate with other functions to ensure alignment with Montblanc Korea strategies.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand market share.
- Analyzing sales figures and forecasting future sales volumes to maximize profits.
- Lead and inspire a team of sales professionals, providing strategic guidance and fostering a culture of excellence. - Managing and motivating the retail store teams to increase sales and ensure efficiency
- Provide regular reports and insights to senior management, highlighting key sales metrics and areas for improvement.
- Actively lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the alignment of retail performance and client engagement & sales efforts with overall business objectives. (Clienteling activities and entire store activities & projects involved store teams and clients)
- Collaborate with CRM department to Store teams have client mind-set, leading & supporting Store Managers to operate Clienteling activities
- Recruit and allocate boutique staff in collaboration with Commercial Director & Manage HR issues for boutique staff and coordinate with HR
- Utilize market research and competitor analysis to adapt sales strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
- Conduct performance appraisals for boutique staff annually or bi-annually
- Collaborate with retail operation team to ensure every operational source is equipped in Boutique to drive and support business in line with strategy.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients / retailers, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty - Lead negotiations with clients / retailers and oversee contract management processes.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proven experience as a successful Sales Manager or in a similar leadership role.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a sales team to achieve and exceed targets.
- Strong understanding of market dynamics, customer needs, and competitor activities.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Results-oriented with a track record of driving revenue growth.
- Min. 7+ years of work experience preferably in retail industry (Luxury or FMCG)
- Good in English
