MAIN PURPOSE

This position supervises overall demand, supply and distribution planning and also inventory management for all Montblanc Korea business. He/she takes care of all duties related to taking stock from HQ, distributing the stock into each sales channel and circulating the stock between all networks in order to maximize sales turnover and inventory efficiency. In addition, he/she is responsible for the inventory fulfillment% not only for novelty but also continuity products to receive right products and right volume on time.
 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Key responsibility: Demand and Distribution Planning

  • Maintain accurate monthly sales forecasts for all sales channels by reviewing historical sales performance and by anticipating future demands aligned with business strategy
  • Oversee the inventory fulfillment% for novelties and continuities and negotiate additional allocations with HQ
  • Execute the inventory distribution into each sales channel; retail, wholesale and ecommerce while considering sales targets, category mix and appropriate assortments in line with a merchandising strategy
  • Re-balance the stock between all sales channels through circulating excessive ones in order to maximize sales turnover and operational margins
  • Manage inventory supply for specific brand/boutique events in collaboration with relevant departments to ensure smooth operations and on-time delivery
  • Maintain a close relationship across internal departments and demand/distribution planning teams in HQ through continuous communications

 

 

Key responsibility: Inventory Management

  • Define key objectives related to the inventory level such as total inventory value, stock month coverage, assortment & model stock fulfillment% and overstock%
  • Control the inventory in & out for optimizing business benefit
  • Arrange the return shipments for excessive stock to HQ or other countries
  • Act relevant tasks for products with PLC (Product Life Cycle) and HQ guidelines

 

 

Key responsibility: Operational and Supply Chain Process Management

  • Maintain the material master data including compliances in line with global/local standards and policies
  • Ensure seamless supply chain flows from HQ to end customers to achieve the sales target
  • Monitor the shipment status of all backorders to receive on time
  • Identify products or local regulations constraints and proactively propose action plans to eliminate or minimize risks
  • Take parts of group projects on operation or IT that require Brand involvement


 

Key responsibility: Others

  • Supervise the digitized online special sale and on-site friends & family sale from product quality inspections to billing documents creation while coordinating event preparations
  • Be responsible for a SAP key user in the module of OTC (Order-To-Cash) and MDM (Master Data Management)
  • Support other SCM operational tasks in collaboration with team members

 

 

PROFILE:

  • University degree
  • Over 10 years of professional experiences related to demand/inventory planning in retail / luxury industry


 

SKILLS:

  • Fluent in English both verbal & written
  • Experience with ERP system, SAP is required
  • Sensitive to numbers with strong analytical skills, good planning and organizational skills
  • Great attention to details and result-oriented
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to build relationships across diverse departments
