JOB TITLE Merchandising Manager
REPORTING TO Regional Merchandising Director
MAIN PURPOSE
This position is responsible for overall management in terms of product assortments and inventories in Korea in order to maximize the sales revenue and profit at the same time. He/she optimizes stock with relevant actions while respecting merchandising strategy, global operations and commercial guidelines.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Key responsibility: Seasonal buying management
- Orchestrate the assortment planning for all sales channels, retail, travel retail and ecommerce
- Determine OTB (Open-To-Buy) while collaborating with a commercial team for category sales plans
- Define the boutique cluster and select product assortments by category in line with HQ merchandising strategy and the boutique profiles
- Execute the order forecast including units of net sales, launching & closing stock within the seasonal buying budget
- Evaluate the product performances in all respects
Key responsibility: Merchandising implementation
- Partnership with supply chain/ops team to set the right level of opening stocks and model stock for each boutique in retail channels / product & agreed channels for wholesale in order to secure the sales revenue and manage to supply goods by auto-replenishment process while considering sales trends
- Develop in-depth understanding of clients’ and boutiques’ needs and be agile in taking actions
- Provide qualitative and quantitative product analysis of current business to have right understanding on the market trend
- Work closely with visual merchandising to enhance the products visibility in boutiques
- Maintain a close relationship with boutiques and merchandising, distribution/demand planning team in HQ through continuous communications
Key responsibility: Retail actions to improve sell-thru
- Maximize sales revenue by allocating the proper product mix to each sales channel which in line with marketing strategy and assortment principle
- Collaborate with retail team & VM team to generate sales revenue from non-turning products
- Partnership with retail/training team to provide any further product information besides HQ training contents
Key responsibility: Price and Product Master Data Management
- Review the selling prices of retail and travel retail, which is given from HQ and feedback to HQ for any call outs or concerns
- Correct product master wrongly categorized by communicating with HQ category management team and a person in charge of ERP system

PROFILE:
- University degree
- Min.10 years of experiences in retail merchandising and inventory planning in retail / luxury industry preferred
- SAP experience preferred
SKILLS:
- Fluent in English (100% required)
- Strong leadership with experiences in people management and interpersonal skills to build relationships across diverse departments
- Strong numerical and analytical skill
- Proficiency in Excel, Power pivot, Power Point, Power BI, Anaplan
- Great attention to details
