Overview: Responsible for planning, receiving and distributing MB products in order to maximize the brand sales potential by channel.  This individual will work closely with the CEO and the Vice Presidents of the sales channels to understand the business needs and develop strategies to obtain, secure and distribute MB products. 


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of demand planners and supply chain manager
  • Lead all planning, forecasting and interaction with merchandising team to ensure stock preparation and optimization for core and novelties
  • Develop and execute strategies to maintain, evaluate, and increase fill-rates for all channels to maximize sell-through opportunities.
  • Proactively anticipate sales needs / trends and raising concerns with launches, allocations and discontinued product. 
  • Manage concurrent priorities between subsidiary and HQ
  • Identify and lead SAP integrity issues. Lead SAP enhancement testing activities for brand
  • Enforce all HQ tools for supply monitoring and reporting
  • Manage all communication and SLA with logistics platforms
  • Manage special projects and partners including ecommerce partner, while looking for ways to improve working process
  • Oversee the activities and performance of the staff (Import/Export Mgr, Forecast/Demand Coordinator, Merchandise Managers of both sales channels)
  • Manage and maintain inventory control, return , model stock fulfilment
  • Implement a transparent process to manage the activities surrounding new product launches.  Activities to include product allocations within channels as well as tie in marketing initiatives.
  • Manage resources and designate responsibilities for ad hoc and seasonal activities.
  • Serve as liaison on a day-to-day basis if necessary with Richemont North America, Montblanc HQ and customer services.
  • Publish monthly analysis / reports to local board regarding inventory developments as well as service levels to all channels



  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.); or minimum of 10 years of relevant planning, supply chain , management training experience
  • Knowledge and familiarity with SAP platform required
  • Forecasting/inventory analysis experience
  • Demonstrate ability to analyze and solve problems, project management skills; hands-on
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to be able to partner with the sales divisions on a daily basis, as well as external / internal suppliers and HQ.
  •  Advanced skill level in Microsoft Office – specifically Excel
  • Team leader skills
