Searching for a dynamic professional whose prime function is to be responsible for the achieving of the brand’s sales objectives by developing new prospects and interacting with international customers to increase sales of products within the territory of Travel Retail Americas.

 

POSITION IS BASED IN MIAMI WITH THE LATAM TEAM

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITY 1

  • Animation and development of the distribution network by implementing distribution policies defined in the Marketing Plan.
  • Evaluate, analyze and monitor dealer inventory and sell through to meet budget objectives and optimize the potential of each account.
  • Achieve the monthly and yearly Sales budget defined by Brand Regional Headquarters.
  • Follow-up on Sell-in/Sell-out performances of each POS on monthly basis and analysis must be prepared.
  • Define appropriate action plan by POS to secure Brand development. Action plan must include necessary actions to improve Sell-in/Sell-out of the network, whenever is needed according to the budget allowed every year, and adjusted during the year.
  • Actions such as incentives, training, CRM actions (client diners, cocktail, product launch, client VIP meeting) sales meeting with partners.
    KEY RESPONSIBILITY 2
  • Research, develop and gather market information in the assigned territory and report to immediate supervisor about process and product trends.
  • Extensive travel throughout assigned territory to evaluate markets, product, pricing trends, and to call on regular and prospective customers to develop and maintain strong relationships with them.
  • Develop and solicit prospects.  Seek and open new points of distribution through extensive cold calling and account penetration.
  • Establish a plan of visit for each market. Plan is established according to the needs of the assigned POS. 
  • Establish a visit agenda prior to any client visit/meeting.
  • Prepare a visit report after each meeting/trip including sales performances, market comments, pictures of POS and competition, sales recommendation and must be validated by Brand Managing Director.
    KEY RESPONSIBILITY 3
  • Display or demonstrate product, using samples or catalogue, and emphasizes saleable features. Generate sales quotations; handle customer’s inquiries; quote prices and credit terms; obtain purchase orders from customers, prepare sales contracts for orders obtained, and process orders for shipping. Follow-up the shipping and documentation for assigned product.   Follow up on pick-up and delivery of orders.
  • Coordinate and ensure that all clients are receiving all information such as updated price list, updated back-order, list of product immediately available, product news, sales tracker results, account receivable (DSO)  and all needed information on weekly basis.
  • Assist the Credit Department in the collection process. Perform customer visits as required for credit, collection and problem resolution

  • Forecast sales by product and by territory.
  • Adhere to, and manage territory advertising, communication and travel budgets.
  • Organize and implement regular training sessions within the network.
  • Attend trade shows representing the Brand

    PROFILE
  • Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field.  MBA preferred.
  • 1-3 years’ experience in the international sales, preferable in luxury products and travel retail. Proven sales track record.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Availability to intensive travels and work extended hours
  • Familiar with international variances in cultural and legal issues as pertaining to sales.
  • Problem solving and process management skills
  • Maturity, ability to adapt, customer oriented, demonstrates assertiveness.
  • High level of integrity
