RESPONSIBILITIES

Merchandising

  • Manage seasonal buy - defining assortment by cluster, by market, sales channels and Point-Of-Sales (POS) level ensuring balance between inventory & sales performance as well as considering clientele
  • Partnership with SC team regarding allocation and supply chain related topics
  • Partnership with training team for seasonal training or any training needs in stores related to products
  • Drive sell-thru of Novelty taking quality actions with constant review
  • Provide proactive follow-up and communication on new launches deployment to all sales channels’ teams
  • Partnership with VM to come up with any regional specific VM guideline
  • Consolidation of market feedback to communicate to HQ and to be a point of contact from HQ and local
  • Collect market intelligence including competitors’ best sellers or trend survey
  • Finding a specific market opportunities liaising with local team
  • Product development for specific country within South Asia region

 

Merchandising Planning

  • Help to define and review sales budget by sales channels (Retail On-/Off-line & Wholesale Domestic/Travel Retail) by categories
  • Liaise with local team to work on the category planning, quarterly sales forecast, sales plan by store and cluster planning
  • Work on SKU efficiencies
  • Merchandising reporting

 

Inventory Planning

  • Evaluate the productivity of full price merchandise and come up with exit proposal to liquidate in outlet

 

Project Management

  • Lead and/or support all on-going and future projects related to Merchandising

 

Requirement

  • Degree or above in Merchandising, Business or related discipline
  • At least 10 years merchandising experience, preferably in retail industry
  • Knowledge in supply chain is a plus
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Independent and proactive
  • Proficiency in Excel, Power pivot, Power Point, Power BI, Anaplan
  • Exposure to SAP system is an advantage
  • Good command of both written and spoken English and Cantonese (mandarin a plus)
