From engaging educational programmes to its signature digital project the Homo Faber Guide and international exhibition the Homo Faber Event, the Foundation is fostering a cultural movement centered on master artisans.

Position summary

 

We are looking for a person to assist the administrative coordination of the Young Ambassadors Programme, and education and cultural mediation programme taking place at Homo Faber Event.

The Young Ambassadors intern will be responsible to follow all administrative tasks related to the programme including contract preparation and signature, travel and transfers bookings, rooming list preparation, data collection from participants, support content collection for e and IRL learning journey and be one of the referent onsite.

 

Main responsibilities

 

Pre event (September 2023-onwards)

  • Assist on operational and administration tasks such as data collection and verification, database inputting, making travel arrangements, coordinating schedules, interacting with suppliers and key stakeholders, elaborating all task lists and schedules for the Young Ambassadors Programme, etc.
  • Support in organising training week.
  • Support in delivering programme and exhibition contents.
  • Assist logistics related to the YAs and supervise YAs onsite during the event.

 

During event (October 2024)

  • Manage and supervise Young Ambassadors onsite, adapt as per needed during the live event.

 

Post event (October 2024)

  • Assist and support the Young Ambassadors coordinator in closing the Homo Faber Event budget and accounts.
  • Assist and support the Young Ambassadors coordinator in putting together feedback, learnings and recommendations for the next edition.

 

Required Skills

  • Training in administration or project management
  • Very detailed oriented
  • Energetic, curious, autonomous and proactive with a natural ability to coordinate and multitask
  • Effective communicator, problem-solver and avid learner
  • Sociable and extrovert with a capacity to connect to others
  • Computer skills (MsSuite, Salesforce)
  • A strong interest in arts, craft, design, education sector
  • Willing and able to work onsite during 6-8 weeks including evenings and weekends with advance notice.
  • Fluent in Italian and English, French language abilities would be an asset.
