Located in the serene setting of the Vallée de Joux, our Home of Fine Watchmaking offers a unique sense of belonging. It is here, inspired by the exceptional landscapes of the Jura Mountains, guided by an unquenchable inner fire, that La Grande Maison gets its soul. How will you make an impact?

 

The Boutique Manager is the key driver of the Boutique’s retail strategy, motivating and directing the team to provide exceptional service while reaching or exceeding its sales targets.   The Boutique Manager is an entrepreneur, managing the daily and long-term operations of the boutique and ensuring the culture reflects that of the Maison.

 

Strategize retail initiatives to generate revenue and hit sales targets:

  • Propose and lead all activity that will improve sales to Prospects, Repeat and VIP clients
  • Work with Retail Director in the development of the boutique action plans
  • Drive the team to reach and exceed sales goals

 

Manage the Boutique Team:

  • Assess the needs of the team
  • Help to train and guide the team regarding Maison History, RNA policies and procedures and Product Knowledge
  • Schedule the team to ensure proper coverage, according to needs of the business
  • Provide clear KPI’s and helps to guide and motivate the team to reach their goals.
  • Ensure that payroll and commissions are  completed on time and follow company guidelines.

 

Manages and Ensures the Proper Operations of the Boutique:

  • Supervise the safety and well being of the team, clients and product by following all RNA safety and security guidelines
  • Follow all Finance guidelines in accordance with RNA procedures and policies and ensures that the team is doing the same
  • Comply with requests for reporting as required
  • Manage and ensure all VM policies and procedures are followed in accordance with HQ and VM manager requests and guidelines

 

Responsible for Continuous Client Acquisition and Client Development:

  • Ensure that associates are continuing to develop new relationships and hitting their KPI’s for client acquisition and client development.
  • Maintain VIP relationships and works with corporate to help build and engender these clients
  • Develop loyalty by taking the client through our customer journeys
  • Work with associates ensuring that they are using the CRM tools at their disposal.
  • Travel with clients to events and trips to the manufacture when appropriate

 

Develops and Maintains Relationships with the Community and with the Boutique’s Business Centers:

 

  • Engender good relationships within the community
  • Work closely with our Mall or Neighborhood Partners
  • Provide feedback regarding competition and an understanding of traffic

 

What about you?

  • 7-10 years of management, especially in the field of luxury retail.
  • Exhibits critical thinking skills and is strong in solution oriented.
  • Strong leadership & customer service skills.
  • Autonomous and with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Flexible mind-set with the ability to embrace changes.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational and interpersonal communication skills required.
  • Proactive approach to analyzing business and human resource needs.
  • Ability to motivate and develop team
  • Excellent communication skills and other foreign language is highly appreciated.
  • Proficiency with MS Office software required, proficiency with SAP preferred.
  • Must be available to work retail hours including weekends..
