MAIN PURPOSE

 

The role of the Store Design & Planning Assistant Manager, SEAO is to work with contractors and external project vendors, in collaboration with HQ SDP team, to ensure that the brand’s boutiques and dealers’ point of sales are built, renovated, maintained and impeccably presented visually, according to that of the Maison’s standards and in respect of cost and delay. This role is based in Singapore and will report directly to the Regional Marketing & Communications Director.

 

Duties and responsibilities include and are not limited to;

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

SDP Project Administration

 

  • Find local millworkers and general contractors to insure our boutique/Espace construction.

- Control millwork quality (factory visits before delivery)

- Challenge our supplier on cost and lead-time for each project

  • Liaising with suppliers for orderings
  • Create order forms through SAP system
  • Ensure and coordinate the delivery of imported equipment and furniture
  • Create table list of all imported material and furniture estimated of time arrive.
  • Liaising with Accounts / Finance for administrative matters
  • Follow up with all PO related matters through SAP and FISM system
  • Follow up on all closure related matter with finance
  • Work with Logistics
  • On incoming/outgoing shipment
  • Raise LGSM for outgoing shipment
  • Ensure date of delivery and good quality upon arriving to our location
  •  Arrangement for night works ( boutique renovation)
    • Handle submission application work permit to the building mall management
    • Arrange security officers during boutique renovation/minor maintenance work for night work.
    • Liaise with IT technicians (if needed) during renovation.

 

SDP Update and Maintenance 

  • Ensure the updates and maintenance of the boutique in order to match with the quality standards and keep it fully operational in terms of Security & Sales.
  • Manage building management and/or contract service providers to ensure that planned scheduled maintenance or repairs are carried out promptly and in accordance to the standards of the Maison and Capex.

 

Visual appearance of the boutiques and POS

  • Through regular visits, ensure the visual merchandising (display, products presentation) and the overall appearance (Lightning, Logos, counters, etc.) of all boutiques and POS are in-line with brand guidelines
  • Create an effective maintenance reporting flow for the staff (internal or external) to optimise maintenance update and repair timing
  • Establish maintenance contracts with key contractors and follow-up the execution. Liaise with regional SDP for big maintenance issue

 

VM Implementation of animations and PLV update for Retail and Wholesale networks

  • Direct handle markets including Singapore, Philippines, Indonesia, Cambodia & Vietnam, while working closely with subsidiaries in Thailand, Malaysia and Australia/New Zealand
    1. Forecast, order, budget and implement animation themes in all boutiques and POS
    2. Implement any new update on PLVs for Retail and Wholesale
    3. Follow-up on and update visual panorama for Wholesale
  • Reporting of implemented animations to HQ SDP for the whole region
  • Develop the window animation concept for local markets base on HQ guidelines

 

VM and Events support

  • Be the key contact person for all VM matters during events
  • Support on the planning and set-up of all events

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent
  • At least 5 years of experience in luxury/fashion retail, architectural firm, designs studio and/or agency (high end contractor/millworker/supplier)
  • Highly flexible and able to work both independently and in team
  • Able to react promptly and efficiently to project adjustments under a tight timeline through strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Able to effectively prioritize and work under pressure in a fast peace environment
