The PR & Communications Manager will work closely with the Regional Marketing & Communications Director to develop and implement PR & Communications strategy in South East Asia & Oceania region, increase brand visibility and awareness, as well as elevate brand desirability and interest. He/she will need to  ensure local marketing strategy and plans are in line with the Maison’s strategy and priorities.


The ideal candidate is a PR & communications specialist who has strong experiences in PR with a strategic mindset. He/she should demonstrate intellectual curiosity.





Media Strategy


  • To propose, develop and implement the media strategy for South East Asia and Oceania region to increase the brand’s presence and image by following the Maison global strategy


  • Work closely with HQ to develop effective media buying strategies for the region. To negotiate ad space and added editorial value in print, OOH and online media in Singapore


  • He/she will be the key contact point between HQ and SEAO, take the lead to share all relevant strategy and plans with local markets.


  • Monitor regionally the media marketplace to stay abreast of trends, identify opportunities and emerging issues` 


  • Performance periodic analysis. Analyse results of media efforts and develop measures of success together with HQ.


  • Ensure monthly reporting on SOV and compare vs editorial efforts including ranking vs competitors




Digital marketing


  • To develop the regional social media calendars based on key product initiatives, events and holidays


  • Work closely with landlord and retailers on digital and social media activations to ensure our brand presence on their platforms to maximize our visibility


  • Identify new social media trends and opportunities, understand and advise how the business can expand its social media activity


Public Relations


  • To propose, develop and implement the regional PR strategy as integral part of the regional business plan and adapt the strategies according to local specificities.


  • Develop and maintain relationships with SEA media, stylists, celebrities & influencers


  • Manage and distribute press materials as per the global timeline as well as local needs in order to maintain high level of editorial coverage


  • Pitch and manage photo-shooting arrangements base on business needs and to drive coverage on commercial products


  • Develop and implement communication strategy with local trendsetters, watch opinion leader (WOL) in respect with the Maison’s guidelines, reaching out to local agencies when necessary


  • Manage media inquiries and interview requests


  • Watches & Wonders coordination: media list, planning, evaluation of PR coverage


  • PR evaluation monitoring & analysis using DMR platform (clipping evaluation)


  • Monthly competition analysis and benchmark in the luxury industry


  • Develop and maintain up-to-date media database




  • Support organization and coordination of PR events: Press trips, Local Event, International Events, Exhibitions, Trade Events


  • Coordination and management of ad-hoc projects



Budget Management


  • Responsible to elaborate, negotiate and follow the Media Budget
  • Administer Media budget : Expenses, Invoicing, Payments





  • Geographical area under responsibility:
    • Direct responsibility: Singapore, Philippines, Indonesia, Cambodia, Vietnam
    • Supporting on regional level: Thailand, Malaysia, Australia, New Zealand

Bachelor’s degree, ideally in Communications/PR


Required experience:

  • At least 6 years of experience in communication/Digital/PR
  • Experience in Luxury Business is preferred
  • Good negotiation and interpersonal communication skills
  • Team player
  • Creative and good presentation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with pro-activity, autonomy and maturity
  • Meticulous with eye for detail
  • Excellent knowledge of general business with special emphasis in luxury business
  • Highly motivated, strong ability to multi-task
  • Fluent in English, Mandarin is  a plus
