Supporting the Managing Director, South-East Asia & Oceania, the Operations & Business Development Director is a key contributor to the development, implementation & coordination of the Maison’s regional strategy. He is responsible of the development of the total sales and profitability in the region for the Retail and Wholesale channels. The incumbent will harness the Maison SEAO’s resources & support to achieve the objectives of this strategy.





  1. Operations


  • Elaborate, monitor & follow up monthly Turnover (per country, split retail, wholesale...)
  • Orchestrate supply and stock over South East Asia to maximize turnover
  • Ensure that budget is in line with sales forecast and stock availability
  • Work closely with Operations teams in HQ and subsidiaries to ensure supply chain goals are met.
  • Work with headquarters teams on long term planning of new products, anticipate stock availability
  • Coordination and follow up of logistics activity with local Richemont Logistics Team
  • Life Cycle Management: SIHH novelty ordering / EOL phasing-out
  • Continuously increase efficiency of procurement and distribution flows, processes and tools.
  • Analyse products sale performances with short term and midterm sales forecasts
  • Compliance of procurement flow; control that all business activities are compliant with company's requirement
  • Optimize merchandising and supply chain for watches and accessories
  • Minimizes supply chain risks and strives for efficiency


  1. Business Development


  • Monitor and drive monthly/yearly sales target achievement across countries / sales networks
  • Support and participate to commercial and marketing actions / strategy
  • Key accounts reports / presentations
  • Budget planning based on product - BTQ - dealer level, target bonus planning, opening & closure / CAPEX, return & provision, P&L, etc.
  • Build up key elements of P&L & monthly follow-up of P&L performances (analysis, action plan)
  • Prepare performance analysis & dashboards for both wholesale and retail business.
  • Business Intelligence: Competitor Analysis, New product conception
  • Support and participate for the strategy and growth of the business for Jaeger-LeCoultre in South East Asia
  • Management of BOOSTER activities in the region, supporting local teams in subsidiaries
  • Develop and establish initiatives in support of business growth and profitability
  • Provide support on commercial aspects of the network: Stock efficiency, respect of model stock, Store procedures (retail)
  • Distribution Network Strategy monitoring: Prepare 5-year business plan for network evolution (openings, closings, retail)
  • Develop and oversee optimum pricing strategy and (re)positioning to maximize profitability and volume growth


  1. Other Key Responsibilities


  • Lead, coach and motivate the local Operations team.
  • Support local operations teams in other subsidiaries: Australia, Malaysia & Thailand.
  • Collaborate with Regional marketing team to develop country specific plans in-line with brand strategy and growth ambitions
  • Local market discount policy and follow-up
  • Prepare SWM brand performance reports
  • Regional Compliance Management :
  • IT management: follow-up the implementation of IT solutions to improve business, operations and people management
  • Ensure inventories are conducted following brand / Group guidelines
  • Supervise SAP recent roll out in South East Asia



  • At least 7 years’ experience in a similar capacity
  • Experienced in Regional Operations and Supply Chain
  • Wholesale and Retail commercial experience is a plus
  • Experience with Watch Maisons would be preferred, but not a must
  • Strong Team Player with Leadership & Management skills
  • Strategic Vision and mind-set.
  • Capable of building relationships in complex environments
  • Organized and able to deliver under pressure
  • Willing to travel occasionally as per business requirements (20-30%).
