Within the Jaeger-LeCoultre North America Marketing team, the Visual Merchandising Manager responsible for driving the consistency and quality of visual merchandising (“VM”) implementation throughout the region and distribution network. She/He will work in close relationship with HQ teams to elevate and maintain Jaeger-LeCoultre image standards to enhance both the business and the client experience.
Responsibilities
STRATEGIC (30%)
- Plan annually together with HQ and Local teams the VM implementation and budgets based on HQ guidelines for openings, permanent VM, temporary animations and local brand events.
- Ensure local visual requirements are shared and met at all time: maintain a culture of excellence, act as a key informant on in-store execution.
- When appropriate, adapt display based on the store’s requirements and architecture, considering local needs together with SDP teams for boutiques, point of sales, espaces.
- Foster a vibrant VM community by actively sharing relevant communication: train and disseminate visual merchandising expertise among Commercial, Retail and Partners teams.
- Monitor and evaluate VM performance and customer feedback, to identify the best practices and areas for improvement.
OPERATIONAL (70%)
- Uphold visual brand standards according to global directive, with impeccable attention to detail and a keen aesthetic.
- Coordinate the logistics and deliveries of point of sale material into the different commercial touchpoints throughout the region in a timely manner.
- Create purchase orders, vendors and other financial needs in SAP, coordinating with local finance department, various vendors and marketing teams.
- Prepare various reporting documents for HQ and local management including qualitative and quantitative elements incl. IWD App.
- Manage the storage, stock inventory and destructions of all point of sale material in our external warehouses and within the Retail environment.
- Support Marketing teams with VM for regional brand events such as brand exhibitions, pop-up, travelling collections.
- Plan and track VM / POS budgets as part of the A&P budget.
- Support SDP team with store opening. From creating planogram to execution, lead and proposed strategic solution per market needs to improve sales and brand images while maintaining brand standard.
Qualifications
SKILLS
- Minimum 5 years of Visual Display and Merchandising experience in a luxury or specialty retail environment.
- Education in visual arts, interior design, architecture, fashion, and/or similar business-related arts, or demonstrated professional equivalent.
- Strong Project Management skills, capacity to orchestrate multiple workstreams in parallel and manage or collaborate with internal and external cross-functional groups.
SPECIFIC
- Strong visual and spatial awareness
- Ability to translate Global guidelines to Local environments and needs
- Skilled in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience with SAP systems (or similar) is preferred
- Ability to travel up to 40% of the time
- Flexible schedule and ability to work outside of regular business hours

- French and/or Spanish speaking is a plus

Expected Salary Range: 95K – 100K
Salary will be determined based on relevant skills and experience.
