MAIN PURPOSE

 

In line with Brand long term strategy, the Brand Manager is responsible for brand development of Jaeger-LeCoultre in Russia and the CIS Region. He/She will be responsible for proposing and implementing strategy, and ensures that wholesale, marketing, communication, operations and people management are at the level required to grow and sustain the Brand presence in the Region.

 

In order to achieve these objectives and through a strong partnership with Brand Headquarter, he/she will:

  • Optimize the performance of the Brand in the area of responsibility in accordance with the Brand strategy.
  • Increase Brand awareness, transmit the brand vision
  • Ensure a smooth handling of all matters regarding the brand with the retailers
  • Form the link between the brand headquarters and the market he/she is responsible for
  • Transmit the brand sales standards in his markets.

 


 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Sales:

  • Responsible for the sales territories of Russia and the CIS region, wholesale channels
  • Contact with local clients and further development of the sales network
  • Hire, retain and develop high performance; develops & enforces boutique operational procedures (conception, implementation and follow up); identifies the operational improvement area
  • Monitors and manages the Wholesale network by choosing appropriate dealers and coordinates its implementation and smooth coordination among different parties
  • Setting and fulfilling of sales goals, analysis of sales statistics, determination of sales potential and inventory requirements, monitoring of customer preferences and information transfer to the headquarters
  • Determine appropriate strategy on sales distribution, network, training, visual merchandising, local events and ensure that pricing policy are within brand commercial guidelines

 

Marketing & Communication:

  • Establishes and implements local marketing & communication strategy and associated budget to promote the Brand in the region
  • Proposes and monitors local marketing initiatives and programs
  • Proposes and monitors the local communication activities in line with Brand’s strategy
  • Creates and hosts appropriate events
  • Ensure the role of Brand ambassador on the markets and toward press, clients and VIP in order to further develop the image of Jaeger-LeCoultre

 

 

Finance:

  • Proposes and implements an annual budget and is directly responsible of the P&L
  • Monitors the right implementation of budget expenses and follow-up of the wholesale sales. Propose corrective actions if necessary
  • Ensures that appropriate reporting is provided to headquarter in term of sales and finance

 

Operations and customer services

  • Manages the operations processes with supply chain department
  • Ensure that Brand’s customer services and repairs are done in a timely manner
  • Manages these processes using the support of regional shared services if appropriate

 

Team management

  • Manages, motivates, assesses, supports and develops Jaeger-leCoultre team (Russia & CIS)
  • Takes strategic decisions regarding the team dimension, structure, goal setting and task distribution
  • Propose future recruitment, development action and allocation of resources to make sure adequate resources are in place to serve the markets.
  • Addresses with Boutique Manager staffing issues (Identify new profile needed in their team, work on team strategy, identify rational for hiring additional staff etc… 

 

 

THE POSITION REQUIRES

  • University degree (MBA will be a great plus)
  • Minimum 15 years professional experience, with at least minimum 8 years professional experience in a senior management position in a multinational luxury company
  • Strong sales background, marketing background as an advantage
  • Deep understanding and experience in retail and wholesale business
  • Familiar with main KPI´s of the business and with P&L leverages
  • Proven experience of work in multinational corporate structures
  • Fluent in English, Russian native (French is a great plus)
