Main Purpose: 

The Head of Marketing & Communications will initiate and implement all marketing initiatives, ensuring a high level of customer centricity and integrated customer engagement through all touch points with the aim to increase brand visibility, brand awareness, desirability, and capture market share. Our Maison is focusing on the continuous digital transformation of processes and experiences for our clients. We are looking for the person who will lead this change locally and empower the local team to embrace innovations. This position reports to Regional Brand Director, MEIA and is based in Dubai.

 

What are the impacts you can create to our business?

 

Your contribution to overall Marketing Strategy

  • You will adapt, propose, and activate marketing plans aligned with HQ and region’s strategies and assets, identifying key leverages of success, and optimizing opportunities/resources and put in place regional amplification plans to further increase local impact
  • You will deliver and ensure excellence in the execution of all marketing plans to support commercial objectives and aligning with partners on strategy to manage joint marketing plans for the respective countries
  • You will define, develop, manage, and execute 360 Social, Digital, Media, KOL and PR strategies with special focus on defining an effective localized CRM strategy to support the brands move towards “New Retail”
  • You will focus on achieving strategic targets (awareness, desirability, conversion) as well as ROI
  • You will integrate innovative and pioneering activations in marketing strategy across all communication channels
  • You will build and execute regional events plans in close collaboration with HQ (product launches, boutique openings, tactical events, annual exhibitions, etc.)
  • You will manage closely media relations and PR plans in co-operation with HQ PR team, and local PR agency, along with PR evaluation monitoring, competition analysis, benchmarking, and best practices.

 

Your contribution to the development of omnichannel business model & New Retail

  • You will act as cross-functional project leader on omnichannel initiatives, ensuring a smooth & holistic client journey
  • By working together with commercial and operations team, you will maximize the visibility of our products through 360 action plans for each different client touch point
  • You will lead new Clienteling strategy implementation - new CRM tools, definition of objectives for client acquisitions, conversion, and retention
  • You will manage the quality and the consistency of the client database (capture of qualitative data, segmentation)
  • Through managing the relationship with the Customer Relation Centre (CRC) you will increase customer engagement and define and drive CRM KPIs, acquisition rates and loyalty
  • Building a clear plan for client experience development on all touch points of the client journey
  • Working with the commercial team to develop and upgrade E-stream expansion in the region (Remote Sales, E-comm, phone sales)

 

Your contribution as an Ambassador and a Manager

  • Be influential / build strong relationships with all key stakeholder (internal- locally and within the HQ and external) to get relevant amount of support and resources
  • Support Media HQ on media strategy, implementation and opportunities
  • Analysis, management and optimization of budgets
  • As a People Manager you would motivate, challenge and coach team members to grow and to achieve targets and be demanding.
  • Define team and individual objectives; manage career expectations with HR and Managing Director

 

The person we are looking for:

  • Min. 10 years’ experience in omni-channel marketing and communication as well as experience in the Middle East region. Knowledge of GCC markets (UAE, KSA, KWT, Qat) market is highly preferred.
  • Possess experience and knowledge in 360 degrees of marketing ecosystem, including online and offline, with good understanding of new media/ digital marketing and proven track record of innovative applications    
  • Proven project leader from planning, implementation to delivery with good business acumen, analytical skills, and commercial sense
  • Team-player, resilient, demanding, agile, creative, rigorous, and solution-oriented
  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability
  • Languages: Business proficiency in spoken and written English is a must; Fluent in Arabic and French languages will be a strong plus
