Mission:

No. 1 Ambassador of IWC SCHAFFHAUSEN, with a clear understanding of the Maison’s Marketing, Communication & Clienteling strategies, in order to:

  • Develop & Implement them locally on all levels and to all stakeholders (Consumers, Media partners, IWC team etc.)

 

Be the first reference of contact, on the Japanese market to HQ, by staying up to date on developments and constant screening of the competition. Also be an influencer to make sure that the Japanese requirements and recommendations are well understood.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Consumer Marketing

  • Lead and manage all MarComm activities (Off-line & On-line) allowing brand awareness and desirability long term as well as contributing to the short term KPIs.
  • Organize/execute the media plan, in collaboration with all stakeholders focusing on durable and beneficial relations.
  • Lead the digital marketing (search, display, website, SNS, e-mailing, etc.) to optimize brand visibility, generate interests, drive qualified traffic together with HQ.
  • Supervise and ensure reporting of PR exposure, always aiming at quality, so to materialize the Maison’s standing up among competitors, whilst respecting its identity & positioning. Track the PR value of each action, and partnership.
  • Monitor and analyze competitors’ communication & PR strategy/actions.

 

 

Trade Marketing

  • Aiming at an excellent brand image’s spread: Through excellent Trade Marketing qualitatively contribute to Sell Out.
  • Supervise construction projects (Internal & External Btques, SIS, Multibrands POS), together with all stakeholders, ensuring global standards are implemented as well as all contractual matters are well executed.
  • Excellent execution of visual merchandising guidelines, and be a key responsible to transfer knowledge to the boutiques and Wholesale management.
  • Supervise/coordinate POS training/coaching program & seminars/sessions.
  • Excellent execution of brand relevant events, participation of trade fairs, in close collaboration with the Retail and Wholesales team.

 

Product Marketing:

  • Plan and organize the local launch of novelties, aligning with all channels ensuring the best visibility and exposure especially at the time of Watches & Wonders in Geneva.
  • Monitor and analyse competitor products offer to generate some good competition understanding on local and HQ level.
  • Provide necessary product information to the sales team to give some further strength to sales opportunities in a competitive environment.

 

Customer Relationship Management (CRM):

  • Ensure achievement of the key Global and Local KPIs
  • Aiming at high conversion & recruitment/retention, incl vs worldwide benchmark
  • Creation of targeted relevant campaigns, coordinated with events or other retail motivated activations.
  • Work together with the retail teams to ensure tools are well understood, as well as analyze bottlenecks.
  • Build personalized clienteling program based on different customer profiles, identifying and optimizing customer touchpoints.
  • Manage from Maison’s side the Client Relation Center (CRC) platform & team.
  • Organize regular exchanges with Customer Service & Logistics to be excellent in terms of end-consumer’s satisfaction.
  • Constantly track ROI of engaged actions, incl through pro-active exchanges with the sales team.

 

Team management: 

  • Manage, coach and motivate each team members to improve their performance and consider the possible career paths.
  • Regular visits to boutiques to observe the commercial activity, and build a proximity/mutual confidence’s relationship.

MarComm Budget consolidation & monitoring :

  • Manage, report and monitor the budget, being the key person in budgeting for each FY and managing the budget together with the teams and HQ.

 

Institutional reporting to HQ:

      • Play a key role in the preparation, and the finalization, of the yearly business review document.
      • Actively support business presentation’s writing & consolidation at time of management market’s visit, or request for activity’s summary.  

 

Profile:

        • 5 years’ experience in Marketing/Communication/Clienteling, preferably in luxury, or high end hospitality industry.
        • Digital skills/experience a must.
        • Passionate, independent, structured, pragmatic and in constant search for excellence.
        • Developed organizational and communication skills.
        • Strategic and analytical thinking backed up by a genuine customer centric mind set, as by business objectives achievement’s constant concern.
        • Effective team player & networker.
        • Taste for change management but through sustainable & compliant approach (Strong sense of integrity).
        • Learning agility, and ability to drive own team to that same agility’s rhythm.
        • Fluent in English (writing, reading and conversation), and business level in Japanese (Strong conversational skills).
        • Developed knowledge, backed up by previous frequent extensive usages, of Excel, Power Point, Word & ability to develop a quick mastering of Richemont/IWC dedicated systems/digital tools.
