Purpose:

The operation department is to support Retail, EC and WHS using analytical data to recommend and implement appropriate actions to maintain a clean stock situation and pursue product allocation to maximize and achieve sales targets. The main role is to implement fair and effective allocations, prepare various reports and coordinate stock deliveries to meet stock needs and client requirements.

 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Mainly merchandising and supply chain management (model stock, allocation, demand planning, product delivery, stock status...)
  • Focus on commercial operations covering all IWC Japan distribution channels
  • The role is the main point of contact between IWC Japan and the head office on these topics

 

Tasks:

  • Order management
  • Management of various operations associated with receiving and shipping, as well as control of the work process
  • Preparation and dispatch of materials for dealers
  • Telephone contact handling (e.g. stock checks, product proposals)
  • Handling of system errors, etc.
  • Confirmation of delivery dates with home country, enquiries, reporting, online meetings, etc.
  • Sales data preparation and analysis
  • Tacking and processing customer orders to maximize sales
  • Kick back and other preparation arrangements, etc.
  • Key user of operational tools and rollouts as needed: collaborate with Regional Operations Manager and/or corporate teams on testing, sharing feedback
  • And other administrative support tasks in the team

 

Skills/experience/abilities required

  • At least 3 years’ experience in the consumer goods industry
  • Experience in the luxury Maison is a plus
  • Advanced in Excel, Word and PPT
  • Experience with SAP systems is a plus
  • Use of business English is a plus (e.g. reading and writing emails, conference calls, preparing documents)
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
  • Client-focused mindset
  • University degree
