POSITION TITLE:        DIGITAL & E-COMMERCE MANAGER

LOCATION:                 SHANGHAI

 

 

1) Summary of Position:

 

The Digital & e-Commerce Manager is responsible for the communications strategy and its seamless implementation across all one-to-one consumer touchpoints.

 

Working across digital, social and mobile spaces, he/she will develop a world-class consumer journey through creativity, innovation and use of insights.

 

Leading a cross-functional team, he/she will focus on both acquisition and retention through engaging, consistent and effective brand & product communications. 

 

Working in close collaboration with HQ, he/she will have to develop and integrate strategic digital & e-Commerce initiatives to achieve the business goal.

 

Direct / reviewing manager: Digital & E-commerce Director

Number of staffs reporting to the position: 1

2) Area of Responsibilities:

 

1. Digital Content & Consumer Journey

  • Build and own the strategy for the consumer journey on OFS (owned flagship store including website & wechat) touchpoints focusing on customer acquisition, engagement and retention.
  • Work with HQ and local marketing teams to identify creative needs for digital content. Develop, manage and execute briefs to enrich the digital consumer journey.
  • Be the dedicated contact person to provide guidance and share best practice across local digital plans.
  1. SEM & SEO (Search Engine Optimization):

Drive the search strategy based on marketing objectives and coordinates with HQ to increase the SEM and SEO effectiveness.

  • Work in close collaboration with the media team & HQ to optimize the strategy in terms of SEO recommendations
  • Manage the search budget within Media Budget
  • Identify search engine marketing business opportunities based on competitive research, industry data/trends and key performance metrics of current marketing campaigns
  • Act as the search subject expert, tying in social media marketing and content strategies to relevant networks
  • Build search engine volume and efficiency forecasts, making recommendations on keywords selection, liaising with the HQ, Global and Local Agency
  • Initiate tests (keywords bids, ad copy, landing pages) to improve key metrics (click, search, convert)
  1. DIGITAL ADVERTISING:

Work in close collaboration with the media team & HQ to drive the digital advertising strategy in partnership with the Media Agency

  • Identify campaigns, subjects and best media to achieve higher results
  • Manage display campaigns
  • Work closely with the CRM team to develop Wechat account
  • Post campaign analysis reports to improve on key learnings and report back to business
  1. DATA / ANALYTICS:
  • Provide the business with insights and information needed to make sound business decisions surrounding the online space
  • Develop and execute best practice analytics strategy
  • Produce reports and offer actionable recommendations to maximize site rankings, brand visibility, fan base, share of voice

 

2. e-Commerce

  • Drive existing IWC China e-Commerce platform (Weboutique & CRC team) and work closely with Global HQ and Local and Global Richemont teams to set up official e-Commerce site to achieve multi-platform e-commerce businesses.
  • This role will be responsible for the daily operation of the e-commerce business activities – developing the customer acquisition strategy, marketing campaigns, and coordinating order processing and resolving systemic issues, optimizing keyword plans and using CRM and related tools and tactics to drive the business.
  • Ensure operational excellence. Ensure permanent integration of all aspects of e-commerce incl. product assortment, stock, supply chain, marketing, CRM, IT, finance, logistics, reporting. Manage the e-commerce local P&L.
  • Ensure full partnership with Richemont Local running  eCommerce support functions (Logistics, Anti-Fraud, Finance, Warehouse, IT, HR)
  • Work closely and manage Call Centre procedures for e-commerce.  Liaise with the customer service team to ensure the brand and product message are consistently implemented. 

 

 

3) Education & Experience:

  • Degree in communications, marketing, advertising or digital communication
  • Minimum 8 years in digital marketing / community
  • Understanding of Luxury and Consumer needs
  • Digital marketing experience on client or agency-side
  • Expertise in customer lifecycle marketing management and a proven commercial record of developing customer facing contact strategies
  • Ability to provide thought leadership on how customer engagement can support delivery of the business strategy
  • Strong analytical skills including forecasting, financial management and marketing program measurement.
  • Experience leading and managing cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and manage a wide variety of projects simultaneously and under deadline.
